Nintendo Switch 2 Might Come Out During the 2025/2026 Financial Year

According to their latest financial statement, Nacon has disclosed that they have both games and accessories prepared for when the Nintendo Switch 2 is released. Based on their earnings report, Nacon anticipates a significant portion of their revenue during the first half of their 2025-2026 fiscal year, assuming that the Nintendo Switch 2 will debut within this timeframe.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for exciting titles across diverse genres, and Nacon is my go-to publisher for that very reason. They’ve got some fantastic games under their belt, like the strategic masterpiece Ravenswatch, the action-packed RoboCop: Rogue City, the high-octane racing experience Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, and the immersive Gangs of Sherwood.

Essentially, Nacon is the sole publisher with confirmed games for the Nintendo Switch 2 at this point. Companies like Ubisoft and Microsoft are merely rumored to be developing titles for the upcoming console, while Nintendo has only hinted at a possible new Mario Kart game, offering little more than speculation.

According to whispers, Ubisoft is believed to be developing over a handful of games for the Switch 2, including “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” and the forthcoming “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”. It’s also been suggested that “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” could potentially be in the works for the Switch 2.

Nintendo itself will reveal more details about the Switch 2 during a Direct planned for April 2.
