Noel Fielding Confirms He’s Back for The Great British Bake Off 2025!

It’s been confirmed that Noel Fielding will carry on his duties as the host of The Great British Bake Off during the 2025 season.

It was uncertain if Fielding could return to his role, as he’s been playing it since 2017, following the cancellation of his Apple TV+ comedy series The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, after reports emerged that he chose not to continue with the show.

Nevertheless, his representative’s statement, as reported by Deadline, alleviated the worries, asserting that there had been “no conversation at all” regarding Noel leaving The Great British Bake Off.

The conversation went on to reveal: “Throughout all the rumors, we’ve maintained communication with Channel 4 and Love Productions. His departure from hosting ‘Bake Off’ was never discussed in our conversations. We are now able to confirm that he will be back to co-host the upcoming series of ‘Bake Off’.

Last week, it was announced that the second season of Dick Turpin was canceled during filming due to Fielding leaving the project. According to The Times, a representative for Fielding stated that this decision was related to a personal and sensitive issue concerning his health.

In March 2024, the debut season of “The Unconventional Journeys of Dick Turpin,” featuring Duwayne Boachie, Ellie White, Marc Wootton, and Hugh Bonneville, premiered to critical acclaim.

When the series was renewed in July 2024, it was stated that Season 2 will offer more magical journeys for Dick Turpin, featuring an array of talented comedians from Britain.

During the summer, it’s anticipated that The Great British Bake Off will continue filming as normal, and later debut on Channel 4 in the fall. Sandi Toksvig and Alison Hammond are expected to reprise their roles as hosts, while Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will return as judges.
