Unlocking Prestige Master in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: What You Need to Know!

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the venerable Prestige grind made its return, offering a structure of ten tiers leading up to the ultimate challenge – Prestige Master, which encompasses a staggering 1000 levels. However, once you conquer Prestige Master, what exactly transpires?

In Black Ops 6, the classic Prestige mode resurfaced, featuring ten stages that culminate in the daunting Prestige Master title and 1000 levels to conquer. But what really occurs when you achieve Prestige Master?

My inquiry centered around the permanence of item unlocks, particularly those for which you’ve used tokens during Prestige levels 1 through 10. When you advance to Master rank, does everything remain accessible, or is there a final ascent to level 55 required for re-unlocking all items once more?

At last, after achieving Prestige Master, I’ve found the solution I needed, and it’s satisfactory indeed. Luckily, there’s no need to go through the process of unlocking everything once more.

Here’s what happens when you tick over to Prestige Master, and the rewards you can get.

How to unlock Prestige Master in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

As a researcher, all I must accomplish to attain Prestige Master is to significantly elevate my level multiple times. Specifically, upon reaching level 56 on each occasion, I will advance one Prestige tier upward.

Progressing through the game involves overcoming ten stages, each offering unique rewards at specific milestones along your ascent. When you reach Prestige Level 10, there’s still one more stage left to conquer.

At Prestige Level 10 when you reach Level 56, you won’t need to manually move up to the next tier like before. Instead, you’ll be congratulated with an image indicating that you have mastered Prestige. However, this achievement marks the beginning of a new grind, as there are a total of 1,000 levels at Prestige Master. You won’t be starting from scratch again, though; you will have a bit of an advantage since you’re not beginning at Level 1.

Starting from where Prestige 10 left off, you begin at level 56 in Prestige Master. Right away, you unlock a Marshall operator skin, and then additional rewards every 10 levels, from level 60 to 90. The most enticing reward comes at Prestige Master 90, as you’ll receive an appealing weapon blueprint.

Starting at level 100, the rewards will switch to emblems, with a bonus of items unlocked from past games. Reaching level 1,000 will grant access to the redacted page, which has been hinted to include the Samuels operator (renowned from Black Ops 2) and the Enigma Tech blueprint for the PP-919, along with some cosmetic items.

What about weapons, equipment, scorestreaks etc? Are those all permanently unlocked at Prestige Master?

Great to hear! Indeed, you’ve got access to all the items previously locked due to levels because you’re not starting over at Prestige again from level 56 onwards.

You now have all items that were hidden due to level requirements since you’re not restarting at level 1 (Prestige). Enjoy!

It seems I was unable to locate a clear response to this question, possibly because people are generally assumed to already understand it. Regardless, I wasn’t the only one puzzled by it, I suppose.

From now on, the wear and tear on the equipment is done. Items associated with specific weapon levels are still to be unlocked, such as numerous optics for marksman rifles in my case since I dislike using them. However, the primary components are now permanently yours to keep. No longer will you have to redesign your setup after completing each tier!

If you’re yet to reach Prestige Master, I hope this information proves useful. It’s quite a challenging journey, one I wouldn’t have managed this far without leveraging Double XP events. I’ve been gaming for over 300 hours on modes that generate XP since the launch, and it certainly feels like it. So, if you can, make sure to take advantage of those extra XP events whenever they come up.
