Last week’s episode of WWE NXT featured the absence of a significant figure, but tonight, that individual returned, immediately acknowledging their past absence. The person in question is WWE commentator Corey Graves, whose comments on social media last week had many doubting if he was involved in a scripted or real-life situation. This uncertainty arose because Graves was reassigned from SmackDown to NXT, but tonight, he unequivocally expressed his contentment with his current position.
Vic Joseph presented Booker T and Graves, playfully commenting that it was actually Graves, not an artificial intelligence. In response, Graves stated, “I find myself exactly where I desire to be. A place where passion reigns supreme, and only the eager thrive. Professional wrestling has never lost its appeal.
As a cinephile, I can certainly see that the lines “I’m exactly where I belong” and “Only the ravenous thrive” are clear nods to recent events, suggesting that any tension between Graves and WWE has been resolved in the time since his initial remarks. Interestingly, he’s also removed those past tweets, which leads me to believe it’s not part of any scripted narrative.
Corey Graves expressed at the onset of #WWENXT, “I’m exactly where I aim to be. Here, where passion reigns supreme, and only those with an appetite thrive; professional wrestling has consistently remained trendy.

Initially, there was interest because it seemed possible that Graves might come back into the wrestling arena. However, recent developments suggest this isn’t happening anymore, as all relevant content appears to have been removed, and his return didn’t factor into tonight’s NXT events.
Graves originally posted this: “Envision pursuing your dream relentlessly, only to be informed that due to physical limitations, you can no longer chase it. Subsequently, you focus on something similar to your dream and excel at it significantly. Yet, when it’s time to reap the rewards of all your hard work, you’re told you’re not well-known enough for your profession. This might explain my recent absence,” Graves wrote.
Graves tweeted, “Think about running after your cherished dream, only to be informed that due to physical reasons, you can no longer chase it. Afterward, you devote yourself to something akin to your dream and become exceptionally skilled at it. However, when it’s time to savor the benefits of all your efforts, you learn that you’re not famous enough for your job. This might be why I’ve been out of sight,” Graves wrote.
As a passionate movie reviewer, I must share my excitement about the latest developments in the world of wrestling! In a recent series of tweets, WWE Superstar, Mr. Drew Gulak (or simply “Graves”), hinted at some intriguing revelations that he would unveil on tonight’s episode of NXT on The CW. With a cryptic message that read, “I’ve got a lot to say,” followed by an invitation to tune in, Graves has piqued our curiosity and left us eagerly anticipating his appearance on the show. Alas, those tweets have since been removed from his timeline, but rest assured, Graves is now making NXT his new home base! Don’t miss out on tonight’s electrifying episode to find out what he has in store for us!
