New Family Guy Episodes Are Finally Releasing Soon

At long last, fresh episodes of “Family Guy” will air soon, as the animated sitcom has officially announced its premiere date for Season 23. For most of 2024, “Family Guy” was absent from our screens, as FOX made some unprecedented changes to its schedule over the past few years. Not only was the series moved off Sunday nights, but it didn’t come back in the Fall with other long-running animation franchises like “The Simpsons” and “Bob’s Burgers.” This meant that we wouldn’t get a new season of “Family Guy” until sometime during Winter, when the midseason Animation Domination schedule began on Sunday evenings.

At last, my excitement is about to reach its boiling point! The long-awaited news has finally arrived – yes, you heard it right, your favorite animated family is making a comeback! That’s right, I’m talking about none other than the Griffins from Family Guy! Starting this Sunday, February 16th, they’ll be gracing our screens once again on FOX. And

As for their time slot, it hasn’t been confirmed yet (alongside the other midseason changes planned for FOX’s Animation Domination block on Sunday evenings). But fear not, fellow fans, because this just means we won’t have to wait much longer to dive back into Season 23 of this hilarious series and witness Peter’s antics once more!

So get ready to mark your calendars, folks. The Griffins are coming back, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Get ready! The new season of Family Guy starts this Sunday, February 16th on FOX, and it’ll be available the next day on Hulu.

Family Guy Returns for Season 23 In February

On February 16th, it’s confirmed that new episodes of “Family Guy” will air, marking the start of the midseason for the Animation Domination block on FOX. Earlier, FOX hinted that their winter lineup for the animation-heavy block would primarily focus on “Family Guy,” with other shows like “Grimsburg,” “The Great North,” and “Krapopolis” also returning for new episodes. Other animated series such as “The Simpsons,” “Universal Basic Guys” (which has not yet announced a new season), and “Bob’s Burgers” will likely go on hiatus once they resume their seasons, though the exact timing is still to be determined.

In simple terms, the animated series “Family Guy” is about to start its Season 23, a fact that was hinted at during San Diego Comic-Con in 2024. The upcoming season promises an amusing take on Top Gun Maverick and introduces some fresh elements, including a younger version of Peter’s arch-nemesis, the Giant Chicken (who could be his son). This new character is expected to have a significant role with Meg.

Where to Watch Family Guy Right Now

If you’re eager for more “Family Guy” episodes at the moment, there are numerous methods available to watch its classic episodes. Apart from every previous season of the animated series now being available exclusively on Hulu (including two exclusive holiday specials that were released last year), it can also be found on various other channels. “Family Guy” reruns are currently airing frequently on channels such as FXX and Comedy Central, and it has even resumed a deal to reappear on Adult Swim (the block that played a significant role in making “Family Guy” the successful series it is today).

Starting from February, “Family Guy” will resume airing brand-new episodes, which means that more of this iconic series will be on TV than ever before. As the animated sitcom is currently marking its 25th anniversary, it promises to be an exceptional year for fans of “Family Guy,” as it’s evident that the show has no intentions of slowing down any time soon.
