The action-packed series “The Night Agent” is nearly ready for its second season return, with star Gabriel Basso hinting that this time around, the fight scenes will be even more intense and exciting.
He added: “Josh [Fried] and I, the fight coordinator, put in a lot of effort to make the fights intense, and there was simply no avoiding that in the production. In other words, when a fight is prearranged, it’s inevitably going to be a rough encounter.
In simpler terms, expect vigorous physical contact, with collisions and impacts occurring throughout the space. There might be unexpected blows, even from unanticipated angles like body shots, and potentially, you could receive a surprise strike from an elbow.
“It’s just one of those fights where you’re just like, ‘OK, yeah, I’m getting hit.'”
In the latest installment of “The Night Agent,” we find ourselves joining Peter in his inaugural assignment as the official Night Agent. This thrilling series continues the narrative, inspired by Matthew Quirk’s book, upon which the first season was built.
With Basso, Lucianne Buchanan reappears as Rose Larkin, while Amanda Warren takes on the role of Catherine, a veteran from Night Action. Additionally, Arienne Mandi, known for The L Word: Generation Q, Louis Herthum from The Peripheral, Berto Colon from Power Book II: Ghost, Brittany Snow of Pitch Perfect, and Teddy Sears from The Flash are also part of the cast.
The series was swiftly re-aired for another installment following its initial release, as it achieved the third highest viewership ratings in history for the premiason of an original Netflix production.
The showrunner has already secured a third season of the series, demonstrating their faith, despite the fact that the second one hasn’t even premiered yet.
