Jessica Alba's Movie Inspired Brody Jenner's Daughter's Name: Honey

Brody Jenner and Tia Blanco had the sweetest inspiration for their daughter’s name.

In a recent disclosure, a former star of “The Hills” shared that the dance film “Honey,” released in 2003 and featuring Jessica Alba, is responsible for naming their 17-month-old daughter Honey Raye Jenner.

Brody mentioned during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show on January 22nd that he really enjoyed the movie, and it turned out he felt the same way. He even watched it himself. ‘It’s a fantastic film,’ he said, ‘and I can’t quite figure out why, despite having another title in mind, Honey seemed like the perfect choice.’

He added, “She said, ‘How about the name Honey?’ To which I replied with a nod of approval, mentioning my fondness for such a name. The thought of calling my little girl Honey seemed quite appealing. Her complexion was as smooth and golden as honey.

In the movie, Jessica portrayed Honey Daniels, a dance teacher in New York City who nurtured aspirations to create routines for prominent figures in hip-hop music.

In the month of July 2023, after the arrival of their child (daughter), Brody openly expressed that she had effortlessly captured his affection from the moment she was born and transformed his life significantly.

The star of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” expressed, “She is essentially everything to me. To put it simply, I am deeply in love. This level of affection seems unbelievable to me, as I didn’t realize that I could feel so intensely for something.

He shared today, “I was once the person on a plane who, upon hearing a baby crying, thought ‘Please hush that child.’ Now I find myself saying, ‘It’s alright. No, it’s alright. May I assist you?'” It’s fascinating how perspectives change, isn’t it? You truly don’t grasp this shift until you become a parent yourself – and then everything about children seems different.

Indeed, fatherhood has shifted his perspective on life.

He continued, ‘Now I find a reason, and let me tell you, it’s just amazing – it’s given me a true sense of purpose.’

Recently, I’ve found myself deeply grateful for my bond with none other than Caitlyn Jenner – my father figure. This relationship has significantly influenced how I envision myself as a dad towards Honey, instilling in me qualities that I believe will make me a nurturing and supportive parent.

In an interview with People published on January 17th, Brody, whose mother is Linda Thompson, expressed a positive outlook regarding the time in his life when Caitlyn was less involved. “Growing up, she wasn’t around as much,” he said. “She was present from time to time, but not constantly. However, her absence has made me more determined to be an active parent myself. I am grateful for this experience because it has taught me the importance of being present as a father.
