In a stunning turn of events, Season 3 of “The Traitors” has truly exceeded expectations with its jaw-dropping plot twists. After four action-packed weeks and a total of 12 gripping episodes, the ultimate victor has been unveiled at last!
Following the prophecies of the Seer, and always impeccably attired Claudia Winkleman, it was declared that Leanne and Jake had emerged victorious in the challenging competition!
As it was revealed they took home a whopping £94,600, there were hugs, tears and screams aplenty!
In the end, only Charlotte, previously unmasked as a Traitor by Francesca, remained. An unexpected turn of events granted Francesca the role of the Seer, significantly altering the dynamics of the game.
Only Leanne, Alexander, and Jake were left, facing the final roundtable where they had to determine who was being truthful. An unexpected turn in this series meant that the last five contestants weren’t required to disclose their real identities before leaving.
Instead, the remaining players had to trust there were no Traitors left in the game.
As a result, Charlotte was exiled by the loyal followers, and Alexander and Jake were mistakenly eliminated from the group at a later stage.
Season 3 of “The Traitors” began on Wednesday, 1st January, welcoming 25 fresh participants to the competition. However, the premiere episode held an unexpected twist.
Since the game could accommodate just 22 participants, unfortunately, three of them initially lost their spots. However, this didn’t last long as they were eventually allowed back into the game. The challenge then fell upon the remaining players to embark on a mission: not only to reinstate these individuals but also to boost the prize fund in the process.
This saw Fozia and Alexander enter the game, leaving Jack sent packing once again.
In other locations, the host, Claudia Winkleman, selected her Traitors among Armani-clad contestants, Linda and Minah. It was Minah who had demonstrated an impressive game strategy up until episode 10, when she was expelled and betrayed by the newly recruited Traitor Charlotte.
Since she was the lone Traitor left, Charlotte found herself in a position where she needed reinforcements. She decided to enlist herself and selected Freddie, placing him under an agonizing choice: become a Traitor or face imminent death. However, Charlotte had a cunning plan hidden up her sleeve.
Given that Leanne was known to have a protective shield, Charlotte proposed the idea of eliminating Leanne, all while keeping it a secret from Freddie, unaware that his co-traitor had betrayed him in such a way.
In tonight’s episode, only five contestants remain after Freddie was eliminated in the second-to-last gathering.
