The report indicates that Bliss was expected to make a comeback on the Raw brand on November 13th, but at the last minute, her representatives contacted WWE about contract renegotiations, demanding a new agreement before her return. Apparently, WWE took a firm stance and put off her return plans along with halting all creative ideas related to it.
Ever since both parties reached a standstill, neither side has made any official comments about it. If the contract disagreement is causing the delay in Bliss’s comeback, let’s hope they can resolve it swiftly, considering the Rumble event is fast approaching.
In two years from now, it will be a full two years since Bliss last stepped into a WWE ring, with her most recent match occurring at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Since then, she and husband Ryan Cabrera have had their first child, and Bliss has been keeping busy with various television roles. This includes appearances on The Masked Singer and leading parts in shows such as Sakamoto Days.
It’s clear that fans are eager to see her return to WWE and showcase her skills in the ring again. Given Bliss’ presence, there have been many exciting newcomers joining the main roster, setting up some intriguing matchups for The Goddess. Emerging stars like Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, and Lyra Valkyria are already part of the main roster, and more rising talents such as Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez, and Jaida Parker are ready to make their mark in the ring. With so many potential matchups on the horizon, the next year could be filled with exciting bouts.
In a past conversation with the MackMania Podcast, Bliss mentioned her eagerness to explore a specific version of one of her former characters that she hasn’t had the chance to portray on television yet. “There’s a side of me I’m eager to explore, but it hasn’t been realized just yet,” Bliss shared. She further added, “When I scrolled through my Twitter feed, I noticed a collage showing all the different characters I’ve played in WWE. I thought to myself, ‘Wow, I’ve essentially played nine distinct individuals.’ If you compare my early appearances to now, there have been nine distinct iterations of how I look, act, and speak.
Currently, I’m working solo on something that I’ve been developing for quite some time. I’m trying to find the perfect moment to release it, considering what my schedule requires at this point in time. Essentially, it’s all about finding the right timing. For now, I’m enjoying my collaboration with Asuka and having a great time doing so. As you know, I often say that I’m quite unexciting as a person. At the moment, I feel I’m coming across as dull on TV, so I’m taking this opportunity to reassess and restructure things to better align with my character aspirations.
