Shemar Moore is swatting away the idea of expanding his family.
A former star of “Criminal Minds” shared that they don’t intend to add another child to their family, as they currently have a 2-year-old daughter named Frankie with partner Jesiree Dizon.
In her interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show on January 24th, Shemar expressed candidly, “This is the real world, I’m speaking truthfully,” emphasizing that he’s 54 years old and his home is bustling with activity.
Moreover, the lead actor of S.W.A.T. pointed out that it’s not only Frankie who contributes to their home’s lively atmosphere; he is also a stepfather to Charlie, aged 6, and Kaiden, who is 18 years old, from past relationships.
Additionally, Shemar, who had a relationship with Jesiree back in 2008 and then resumed it with the actress from Hawaii Five-0 in 2020, is concerned about the amount of his toddler’s life he will be present for.
Growing up, I was an only child,” Shemar explained. “I received plenty of love from my mother, and at 54, I don’t see the need to worry excessively. If everything goes well, I hope to reach 90, which feels like a truly blessed and complete life for me. However, that would mean Frankie losing me at just 37, so while it would be a full life for me, it might come too soon for her.
With no plans for family growth in sight, Shemar can dedicate his attention fully towards being an exceptional father. In his words, “I wish to spend any remaining time, if the heavens allow, solely on my precious daughter.
Previously, Shemar expressed that fatherhood was something he had thought he would never encounter.
He confessed during his appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” in January 2023 that he had been concerned for a while it was too late or an impossible situation, but luckily everything worked out as God was looking after him.
One person who always knew he was destined for parenthood? Jesiree.
In the June 2024 Instagram post he captioned, the 41-year-old expressed, “You really pull off the ‘Dad’ role wonderfully. This might be your finest performance yet.
“You are our everything,” Jesiree added. “We love you to the moon.”

The Academy Award-winning individual, who had never married, was already a parent to daughter Julie Marie (born in 1989) with Jan Tarrant and twins Anton James and Olivia Rose (born on January 25, 2001) from his relationship with Beverly D’Angelo. Later, at the age of 83, he became a father to four children.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I am thrilled to share some exciting news: On June 15, 2023, my representative confirmed that I, Al Pacino, have become a father for the third time. My partner, Noor Alfallah, and I are proud parents to our beautiful newborn boy, whom we’ve named Roman Pacino. We are overjoyed with this wonderful addition to our family!
On June 6th, Pacino shared with a photographer that this particular moment was exceptionally unique. He had experienced many children before, but he emphasized that this one was particularly special, given the current circumstances.
In a delightful turn of events, the two-time Academy Award winner was 79 years old when he and his partner, Tiffany Chen, welcomed their seventh child, a daughter named Gia Virginia Chen De Niro, into the world on the 6th of April in the year 2023.
Robert De Niro is the father of Drena De Niro (born September 3, 1971), whom he adopted after marrying her mother, Diahnne Abbott, in 1976. They also have a son together, Raphael De Niro (born November 9, 1976). He has twin sons, Julian and Aaron (born October 20, 1995), with Touki Smith. Lastly, he has a son, Elliot (born March 18, 1998) and a daughter, Helen Grace, with his second wife, Grace Hightower.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the actor expressed that being a good father involves understanding that you have a role or duty to fulfill.
In the end, he remarked that it was a puzzle, full of thrill. Yet, it was also terrifying, and one did their utmost to cope.
62-year-old Sam Neill, famously known for his role in Jurassic Park, became a father for the second time when he and his wife Emilie Livingston gave birth to their son Charlie Ocean on July 4, 2015. Their firstborn, River Joe, joined the family on April 7, 2017.
In 2022, Goldlbum called being a dad at 70 “revivifying”—because, of course he did.
He marveled at Emilie in her new position on TODAY, calling it “incredible” and praising her as “more heroic than one could ever imagine.” Regarding parenthood, he admitted that it can be demanding, sometimes chaotic, and even infuriating. At ages 3 and 5, or 5 and 7, children can act like wild animals suddenly released. However, they can also be adorable and awe-inspiring. Overall, it’s an incredible experience.
Mick Jagger, renowned lead singer of The Rolling Stones, still finds joy in being a father: He became a dad for the eighth time at 73 when he and his ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick gave birth to their son Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger on December 8, 2016.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at the expansive family tree of Mick Jagger. I’m particularly enthralled by his children, who are like branches from the same legendary rock ‘n’ roll tree. Karis Hunt Jagger (Nov. 4, 1970) is one, born to Marsha Hunt; Jade Sheena Jezebel Jagger (Oct. 21, 1971), my dear, was brought into the world by his first wife, Bianca Pérez-Mora Macias.
Fast forward to the ’80s, and he welcomed Elizabeth “Lizzy” Scarlett Jagger (March 2, 1984) and Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger (Jan. 12, 1992), two beautiful additions to his family, both born to longtime partner Jerry Hall. The ’80s also saw the arrival of James Leroy Augustin Jagger (1985) and Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger (1987), who were gifted to the world by the same remarkable woman.
And finally, in the late ’90s, Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger (1999) was born to Luciana Gimenez, completing this remarkable tapestry of life and love that is Mick Jagger’s family. It’s a legacy that resonates with every beat of his music, and it’s one I hold dear as an ardent fan.
Meanwhile, the granddad of five is also a great-grandfather to daughter Jade’s two granddaughters.
Years ago, in an interview, I, Mick, shared that being a good parent, regardless of profession, can be quite challenging. I believe it takes immense effort and time to raise children well. On the road, I get to see my kids, but their behavior can sometimes be unruly [laughs], as they have access to many things. And in observing them, I often think, “They’re acting just like me.
Instead of saying, “they didn’t want to go to bed when told, or wake up when expected,” a more conversational way to phrase it could be, “he remarked that they seemed to have fallen into the rhythm of rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle. It made him think, ‘Wow, only 6 and they’re already living it.’
Ronnie, akin to a romantic lead singer in a band, happens to be the guitarist of the Rolling Stones and a loving grandfather of six. He is also a father of six, with two of his children being from his third wife, Sally Humphreys. The twin daughters, Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, came into the world on May 30, 2016, which was just two days before Ronnie’s 69th birthday.
In September 2018, Sally shared with Hello! that Ronnie and she were extremely content with their lives. They expressed deep gratitude for all the blessings they possess.
The twins enjoyed visiting their father at the recording studio. She commented, “They put on their mini ear protectors and he allows them to play with all the controls on the mixing board…It’s clear that they’ve got him charmed by their tiny hands.
60-year-old Rod Stewart became a father for the fifth time with his third wife, Penny Lancaster, when they had son Alastair Wallace Stewart on November 27, 2005. Six years later, in 2011, their youngest child, Aiden Patrick Stewart, was born, making Rod Stewart a father at the age of 66.
65 years old, Rod first encountered Sarah Streeter, the child he fathered at 18 with Susannah Boffey and gave up for adoption. “Rod has significantly entered my life since my mother passed away,” Sarah stated in 2010 after her adoptive mother’s death, “and I don’t believe that was just a coincidence. We are now embarking on a new chapter, which is wonderful.
The artist known as “Forever Young” is not only a famous musician but also a father to several children. He has a daughter named Kimberly Stewart (born August 21, 1979), a son named Sean Stewart (born September 1, 1980) with his first wife Alana Hamilton. With his second relationship with Kelly Emberg, he became a father to another daughter, Ruby Stewart (born June 17, 1987). His union with Rachel Hunter resulted in two more children – a daughter named Renee (born June 1, 1992) and a son named Liam (born September 5, 1994).
For over two and a half decades, I was married to the remarkable Linda Eastman McCartney. Unfortunately, she passed away in 1998. Together, we welcomed our daughters Mary and Stella, as well as our son James into the world. Moreover, I had the privilege of adopting Heather, who was Linda’s daughter from a previous relationship.
In the year 2003, October 28th, his daughter Beatrice was born to Heather Mills, who was then his second wife. They divorced in 2008, and since 2011, he has been married to Nancy Shevell.
Speaking about fatherhood, this legendary figure from the Beatles has always aimed to provide some advice when his kids seemed to require it, particularly in their younger years. However, he shared in January 2023 on his website that as they’ve grown older, the roles have reversed, and now they are the ones offering guidance to him. He noted that while they don’t need much direction these days, if any issues arise, he’s more than happy to be the one they confide in.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but marvel at the multitalented individual who effortlessly transitions between acting and filmmaking, earning an Oscar along the way. At the ripe age of 66, this remarkable man, known to many as Clint Eastwood, added another title to his impressive resume – father – when his wife, Dina Ruiz, and he welcomed their daughter Morgan Eastwood on December 12, 1996.
He didn’t meet his oldest daughter, Laurie Murray (born in 1954), until she was in her thirties. In the 1980s, she initiated contact with her famous father, and it’s said that they have had a relationship ever since.
Clint Eastwood is connected to Kimber Lynn Eastwood, Roxanne Tunis, Kyle Eastwood, Alison Eastwood, Scott Eastwood, Kathryn Ann Eastwood, and Francesca Eastwood through family ties. Kimber, Roxanne, and Kyle are born in 1964, 1968, and 1964 respectively; Alison, Scott, and Kathryn were born to Maggie Johnson and Clint; Scott and Kathryn were born in 1986 and 1988 respectively to Jaclyn Reeves and Clint; while Francesca was born in 1993 to former partner Frances Fisher.
The Dirty Harry star also has five grandchildren.
In a 2016 interview with Esquire, Scott explained that his father was very traditional, having grown up in Hawaii and later moving to California to live with him during high school. He also shared that his father instilled in him strong values such as punctuality, responsibility, and the importance of hard work.
Martin lived alone in the building until he was 67, at which point he and his second wife, Anne Stringfield, became parents to a girl born in early 2013. Interestingly, the couple has kept their daughter’s name private, never revealing it or sharing a picture of her.
As a lifestyle expert, I might rephrase it like this: “Looking back, if I had become a father earlier in life, I fear I may not have done justice to the role due to my overemphasis on my professional pursuits.” This way, we maintain the original sentiment but present it in the first person and make it more conversational.
Reflecting on the path his life had followed, he observed, “It’s been more like a gradual upward climb leading me to true, authentic joy.
Lust for Life was the name of the game for the two-time Oscar winner and father of 12.
Quinn had a family with five kids from his first wife, Katherine DeMille (daughter of Cecil B.), three with his second spouse Jolanda Addolori, two with Friedel Dunbar, and two with his third wife Katherine Benvin, whom he wed in 1997. At that point, he was 82 years old and their daughter Antonia Patricia Rose Quinn was only 4, while son Ryan Nicholas Quinn was just 17 months old.
The actor and Benvin were together until his death at 86 in 2001.
In 2000, Anthony expressed on Larry King Live that he feels he is a more devoted father this time around, living with his family in Rhode Island. He declared, “I am deeply, passionately in love with my two children, not suggesting that I don’t cherish the others. I have had wonderful relationships with my other kids. However, these two children are always by my side, and I missed them dearly during the one day I was separated from them.
Charlie Chaplin, the groundbreaking figure of silent films and famous for his “Little Tramp” character, had two sons with his second wife Lita Grey: Charles Spencer Chaplin III (born May 5, 1925) and Sydney Earl Chaplin (born March 30, 1926). Later, he went on to have eight children with his fourth wife, Oona O’Neill. Notably, Oona was only 18 years old when she married the 54-year-old Chaplin in 1943, which caused quite a stir, especially for her playwright father, Eugene O’Neill.
The duo stayed united from 1944 to 1977, when Chaplin passed away at the age of 88. During this time, they welcomed a total of nine children: Geraldine Leigh (born in 1944), Michael John (born in 1946), Josephine Hannah (born in 1949), Victoria Agnes (born in 1951), Eugene Anthony (born in 1953), Jane Cecil (born in 1957), Annette Emily (born in 1959), and Christopher James (born in 1962).
Chaplin was 73 when Christopher was born.
Geraldine took on the role of her paternal grandmother, Hannah Chaplin (who had children with multiple fathers), in the 1992 biopic “Chaplin” starring Robert Downey Jr. as the main character. She explained to the Baltimore Sun that although there were no rules against watching other films, only Charlie Chaplin movies were shown at home. It seemed he did this because he was quite insecure and couldn’t tolerate the idea that someone else’s film might be better than his own.
In the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and even the ’00s, it seemed like the indefatigable Rocket Man never stopped touring. However, when I turned 63, my life took a beautiful turn with the arrival of our first son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, born on Christmas Day, 2010, through a surrogate. Three wonderful years later, we welcomed our younger son, Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John, also born via a surrogate on January 11, 2013.
John shared with The Mirror back in 2016 that having kids transformed his entire lifestyle. He stated that small moments spent with them are far more valuable to him than anything he could ever own, such as a painting, a photograph, a home, or any chart-topping music record.
12-years younger Furnish expressed his gratitude to The Sunday Times UK in 2015, saying, “It’s a relief to have become a parent when I did. Nothing could have prepared me for the responsibility and life changes…I feel more confident and comfortable in my professional skin now than I would have 20 years ago.
The Piano Man welcomed daughter Alexa Ray Joel with second wife Christie Brinkley on Dec. 29, 1985.
In the years that followed, he found himself becoming a father once more at the age of 66. This happened when his fourth wife, Alexis Roderick, gave birth to their daughter Della Rose Joel on August 12, 2015. Later, in October 22, 2017, they were blessed with another child, a sister for Della named Remy Anne Joel.
Billy shared with Extra that it feels amazing following the birth of Remy. When asked about his role as a parent, he jokingly admitted, “Some people might think we don’t spend time with our kids… We’re active when they’re active and restful when they’re resting.
Notably, the well-known chat show legend exchanged vows with eight different women, including Alene Akins whom he married twice from 1961 to 1972. He is also a father of five children.
Regrettably, Andy, their son, aged 65, and Chai, their daughter, aged 51, both passed away in 2020. Unfortunately, they lost Andy to a heart attack, while Chai succumbed to lung cancer within weeks of each other.
In the year 2021, Larry passed away at the age of 87. He left behind his son, Larry Jr., who was born to him and his second wife Annette Kaye in 1961, as well as his sons Chance (born in March 1999) and Cannon (born in May 2000), both of whom were born to him by his seventh wife Shawn Southwick.
In an interview with The Guardian in 2015, he shared that before Chance and Cannon, his priorities were heavily focused on work. He adored his kids and strove to be a caring father, but his professional obligations often took precedence. Consequently, he acknowledged that he had paid a significant price for this focus, as there’s nothing more valuable than maintaining a healthy home life.
