Over the last ten years, the Dying Light series has proven to be highly profitable for Techland. It’s therefore not unexpected that this Polish company plans to continue pouring money into the franchise for the immediate future.
This year, Techland is commemorating the 10th anniversary of Dying Light, and they’ve got several exciting Dying Light-related projects in store to celebrate. According to a recent announcement, they aim to carry on with the series by working on various as-yet-unrevealed projects.
It’s uncertain what shape those unexpected projects will ultimately take, but it seems plausible that Techland might want to bring us Dying Light 3 sooner, given their past successes. However, they could also choose to continue supporting Dying Light 2 Stay Human, considering the longevity of support for the original Dying Light.
Besides new game releases, Techland plans to grow the Dying Light brand by creating additional items such as board games, unique merchandise, a comic book series, and other exciting content.
In the year 2025 during summertime, we’ll witness the independent release of “Dying Light: The Beast” for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and personal computers.
