Konami recently shared that the digital and physical sales of the Silent Hill 2 survival horror remake have surpassed the two million mark, indicating a massive triumph for this reimagined classic.
The game, masterfully created by Bloober Team, initially debuted exclusively on the PS5 console, and these figures encompass both digital and physical sales from the platform, in addition to PC purchases as well. As of January 23rd, 2025, approximately three months after its October 8th, 2024 release, these statistics are up-to-date.
In our critique, we adored this impeccable reboot, labeling it as an “outstanding horror classic.” Moreover, it earned the sixth spot in our annual “Game of the Year” rundown.
Before its launch, there were some apprehensions, but upon release, Silent Hill 2 truly proves its worth – delivering an outstanding survival horror experience that stands out yet again.
