Silent Hill 2 Remake Has Sold Over 2 Million Copies

In just three short months following its release on PlayStation 5 and PC, Konami’s remake of Silent Hill 2 has surpassed a significant sales target. It has now sold over two million copies globally, combining both physical shipments and digital transactions. Previously, it took only three days to reach one million in sales.

Created by Bloober Team, this remake stays true to the cherished survival horror original. The narrative revolves around James Sunderland’s quest to find his wife in a mysterious town, which remains unchanged. Yet, the visuals have been completely overhauled using Unreal Engine 5, and a fresh over-the-shoulder viewpoint has been integrated into the gameplay.

As a devoted fan, I can confidently say that the response to the Silent Hill 2 remake has been overwhelmingly favorable among both fans and critics.
