Next week, Bungie is unveiling a partnership with Star Wars, which includes freshly themed items such as emotes, armour pieces, and more for Destiny 2. Starting February 4th, 2025, players will have access to new emotes and finishers to use. However, the highlight of this collaboration is that each class – Titan, Hunter, and Warlock – will receive their own Dark Side-inspired armour sets.
In the upcoming content update called Heresy, Titans can transform into regular Stormtroopers, Assassins can disguise as Deathtroopers, and Mages can join the Imperial’s Royal Guard. One of the most exciting features is a Ghost skin that turns your chat companion into a Death Star. Since these items are premium content, they will need to be purchased with real money.
With the debut of Heresy, you’ll find three fresh armor adornments (one for each Guardian class), all designed with inspiration from the soldiers of the Galactic Empire. Moreover, there are various accessories inspired by Star Wars to complement these items.
These items are being released concurrently with Destiny 2: Heresy, an additional chapter featuring three acts that serve as the final conclusion to last year’s popular DLC The Waking Shape. Hovering around Saturn within its colossal rings, the Dreadnaught has remained a significant part of Destiny’s lore. It served as a haunting reminder of Guardians’ past conflict with Oryx during The Taken King expansion, and later became a strategic base for Xivu Arath’s forces. With Heresy, the Hive ship will resurface prominently once more.
