Stalker 2 devs promise a massive update is right around the corner

Initially, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl was a gem hidden amidst roughness, but developer GSC Game World has been diligently polishing the game. After reintroducing A-Life in their latest major update, they’ve announced that another significant update is imminent.

Excitedly speaking as a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that after addressing some really annoying bugs with a recent update, the Stalker 2 developers hinted at a significant one coming soon. The team has already delivered on fixing shader compilation issues, memory leaks, crashes, and specific performance dips, and now they’re promising an additional update is right around the corner.

Fans were informed by GSC that the update they’re about to receive is the first for this year, with a significant game update coming shortly afterwards. They expressed gratitude for your feedback and continued support. Rest assured, they are diligently working on S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl and will soon be sharing more updates with you.

Accompanying an existing enthusiastic modding group, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl can be considered a fitting sequel to the original games. Despite its current state of potential issues, it’s not uncommon for a Stalker game to be less than perfect.
