In chapter 1137 of “One Piece”, it’s revealed that Shamrock and Gunko, two Holy Knights, have traveled to Elbaf with the aim of taking control of the island under the World Government. Their initial strategy was said to be recruiting Loki into the Holy Knights; if this fails, it seems they might resort to using force. This could potentially turn Elbaf into a battlefield. If such a scenario unfolds, the verdant land of the Giants might suffer the same fate as God Valley did 38 years ago, becoming the site for another Native Hunting Competition as a form of punishment for their defiance.
One Piece Teases Elbaf May Go Down the Same Road as God Valley

Fans have speculated since the fight between Shanks and Kid that the breathtaking island of Elbaf might be on the verge of destruction, and One Piece Chapter 1137 seems to support this theory. The giants have historically been a thorn in the World Government’s side due to their strong connection with the Sun God Nika. If their link to Nika were discovered, it could lead to their inevitable elimination.
The World Government remains unaware that Ohara’s research is being protected on Elbaf, a revelation that would only intensify their desire to destroy the island, mirroring their actions against God Valley. Furthermore, with the Mother Flame at their disposal, Imu and the World Government possess a powerful tool to erase Elbaf, much like they did with Lulusia.
