Future Games Show Spring Showcase Announced for March 20th

According to GamesRadar’s announcement, the Future Games Show is coming back on March 20th from an unexpected venue – the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The Spring Showcase will unveil fresh trailers for both big-budget triple-A games and indie projects, premiere world debuts, and offer exclusive game demos.

Daniel Dawkins, head of games videos and events, shared that the main goal of The Future Games Show is to help viewers find excellent new games, with an emphasis on under-the-radar AAs, potential sleepers, and innovative indie titles. However, it’s unlikely that Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong will make a surprise appearance and announce a release date after everything that has transpired.

As a game enthusiast, I’m all geared up after the Spring Showcase! The next day, I’ll be glued to FGS Live from GDC stream. Expect more captivating trailers, enlightening developer chats, and even some exclusive news straight from the show floor. So, keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates!

From March 17th to the 21st, the Game Developers Conference is taking place. This event includes presentations by multiple studios, as well as hosting the Game Developers Choice Awards on March 19th. So far, “Astro Bot,” “Animal Well,” and “Black Myth: Wukong” are at the forefront of nominations. You can find the complete list here.
