Adam Levine's Surprising Reason for Returning to The Voice Revealed!

Adam Levine is happy to bring back these memories.

The lead vocalist of Maroon 5 is coming back as a coach for the 27th season of “The Voice” following his departure in 2019. He shared thoughts about what prompted him to return and take his place on the cherry red chair again.

In a private conversation with Will Marfuggi from TopMob News, Adam expressed that the moment seemed right. He took advantage of some spare time to pursue his interests and spend quality moments with his loved ones.

As he put it, “I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”

Although he decided to depart from the show following a 16-season run in 2019, the 45-year-old, who has children Dusty Rose (8), Gio Grace (6), and a 2-year-old son with his wife Behati Prinsloo, doesn’t look back on his decision with regret.

He mused that it seems as if no time has elapsed, yet everything feels remarkably fresh and wonderful. He’s absolutely thrilled and energized. These people, he adores them deeply.

Although Adam left the singing contest unexpectedly six years prior, he still managed to appear for a brief moment during the season 23 finale in 2023, where he sang Maroon 5’s “Middle Ground.

Initially, when the artist who collaborated with the likes of Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Shakira, and Gwen Stefani (among others) over the years, decided to bid farewell, he opened up about his journey during almost a decade of filming.

He expressed on Instagram that it was an unforgettable, heartfelt experience which has deeply impacted his life. He feels privileged to have been involved in something he will hold dear forever.

I want to express my gratitude to each and every coach I’ve had the privilege of sitting with. Sharing that unique journey is something we both carry forward for a lifetime. To all those who stood by me during this unexpected, peculiar, yet incredible detour into uncharted territories, thank you.
