Over the subsequent episodes, the character has not appeared, causing fans to speculate if she might have started her new job already.
Now, actor Megan Cusack has confirmed once and for all where the character has gone.
When asked about Nancy missing this year’s TopMob Covers Party, Cusack replied, “Oh, she’s simply a dedicated career woman. She’s currently busy with other commitments and has taken on a new job, but that doesn’t mean you won’t catch up with her again.
Asked about whether I could verify that Nancy has started her position at Netherditch Hospital, I playfully replied, “Neither confirming nor denying,” followed by a chuckle. But let me assure you, yes, she’s indeed working there!
At the TopMob Covers Event, Cusack likewise addressed fan speculations about the true motives of Nancy’s future spouse Roger regarding his intentions.
The actor labeled fan theories linking him to the IRA due to his origin from Northern Ireland as “inappropriate,” and clarified that he, in fact, is a reliable individual.
She replied, “He isn’t just great, he’s fantastic, and he’s always kind to both me and Colette.
