Instead of rushing into a passionate dating game on Valentine’s Day, titled “Ambitious Romance sim: Date Everything,” the launch has been postponed by its publisher, Team17. Originally set for release on February 14th, it is now scheduled for some time in June.
Lead designer Ray Chase declared, “Now, I am certain that we’ve achieved the stage at which the game stands as a reflection of our objectives, while maintaining our unyielding commitment to our eccentric artistic vision.
Despite my strong belief that we could thoroughly test all the extensive content and navigation within this colossal game, it turned out that we underestimated the task’s complexity. Regrettably, our deadline on the fittingly chosen date of 14th February, 2025, arrived before we were able to complete everything.
Chase acknowledges advancements in its testing process, but requires additional time for completion. The tentative launch is scheduled for June 2025, although it might not be as exciting as Valentine’s Day, they aim to add a unique charm to June instead. Indeed, one can anticipate dating the occasional glitches that may arise.
In essence, we value the developer’s enthusiasm and would prefer they spend time refining the game’s launch rather than risking a negative initial reception. Given that February is quite crowded with new releases, June could potentially provide a more suitable debut date.
