Last week, Koei Tecmo sneakily released Ninja Gaiden 2: Black without much warning, but they’ve pledged to keep working on updates for its PlayStation 5 remake version.
Earlier this week, the publisher announced through a post (on X or Twitter) that they are working on a fix scheduled for mid-February. This update includes tweaks to the game’s balance and new features. They mentioned that these changes will be influenced by the feedback they have received.
Originating as part of an intense campaign by the Japanese publishing company, a fresh take on the classic game, Ninja Gaiden, was launched to rekindle its popularity. In the latter half of this year, expect the unveiling of a new sequel titled Ninja Gaiden 4, destined for release on PS5. The development process is already well underway, with approximately 70-80% completed.
It’s currently unknown what extra elements Koei Tecmo plans for Ninja Gaiden 2: Black, but we’ll provide updates once more information is shared publicly.
