Pete Davidson’s Painful Tattoo Removal Journey: A Skin-Burning Transformation You Won’t Believe!

Pete Davidson is nearly done removing all of the tattoos from his body, body, body.

The former Saturday Night Live star provided a progress report on his multi-year tattoo removal journey, initiated in 2020, noting that the tattoos are nearly erased. He described the experience as excruciatingly difficult.

Pete explained to Jimmy Fallon during the January 30th episode of The Tonight Show that a treatment requires removing a layer of skin, which needs about six to eight weeks to heal. After this, you must repeat the process approximately 12 more times, and it’s crucial to avoid sunlight throughout this period.

In simpler terms, after joking about it, he shared that the discomfort of having his tattoos erased was actually more intense than the process of getting them initially inked.

Addressing the crowd, he advised, “Give some serious thought to that ‘Game of Thrones’ tattoo you’ve been considering, if I may say so.

The actor from “The King of Staten Island” disclosed that he had approximately 200 tattoos prior to their removal, explaining that he amassed such a vast array of ink due to feelings of sadness in the past.

Jimmy inquired, “Wouldn’t you just imagine something and then fetch it?” To which Pete replied, “Well, it was quite an unusual period.

He went on to say, “It seems everyone had tattoos, around half a decade back. Do you recall that trend?

Pete employed Post Malone’s choice to have the phrases “always” and “tired” tattooed beneath each of his eyes as a demonstration of famous individuals opting for tattoos.

“I was like, ‘Yeah, me too, dude,'” he joked. “‘I’m exhausted.'”

Despite being determined to complete the tattoo removal process entirely, the actor from “Dumb Money” confessed that he has chosen to preserve a few of them.

Pete clarified, “I’d say around three or four, but I’m attempting a fresh start, growing up as a responsible individual.

Previously, the 31-year-old mentioned that he chose this major change to expand his acting opportunities and further progress in his career.

He shared with Seth Meyers on The Late Show in 2021 that he never imagined he would act, but now he truly enjoys it. He mentioned that his past film roles often required him to spend up to three hours having his tattoos concealed with makeup, which is something he noted was not common in movies.
