Pokemon TCG Pocket Updating Trading Feature Due to Backlash

The much-anticipated trading function in Pokemon TCG Pocket has been revised following its launch, as per a statement from the game’s creators, due to a significant amount of feedback about its initial implementation. The main concerns regarding trading primarily centered around the resources needed for card trading and the limitations on trading certain cards initially. As of now, specific alterations have not been disclosed; however, the developers of Pokemon TCG Pocket have indicated that they’re currently working on addressing these issues.

According to the creators of the mobile Pokémon game, the purpose of these restrictions was to prevent misuse of the trading function, whether it was automated bots or other forbidden activities. Unfortunately, these limitations have left frequent players frustrated, with some choosing to avoid trading altogether and others contemplating leaving the game entirely due to disappointment over a feature that’s been hyped since its launch.

Feedback about trading came swiftly, and the Pokemon TCG Pocket creators responded in kind.

Despite some restrictions that have been set up, we realize they’re making it difficult for players to casually use the feature as intended, based on your valuable feedback. We are currently working hard to find solutions to enhance this feature and alleviate these issues. Additionally, we aim to provide various methods for acquiring trade tokens, such as through event rewards in the future.
