In the latest update for “No Man’s Sky“, titled “Worlds Part II“, a wealth of fresh content has been introduced, such as new star systems, planet types, user-friendly enhancements, and even a quest designed to help players adapt. Among these additions are relics you can construct for your bases, which can be discovered in diverse planet landscapes. This guide will provide information on where to find them!
How to Get Relic Base Parts | Worlds Part II
Similar to most of the fresh content introduced with this update, you’ll initially need to finish the quest titled “In Stellar Multitudes.” This quest, however, has several other requirements that are yet to be fully understood by the community. For a clearer understanding, you might want to refer to our guide on “Unlocking Purple Star Systems.
From now on, after gaining entry to the “Purple Star Systems,” your task is simply to locate planets labeled as either “Ruined” or “Abandoned.” Additionally, planets bearing the tag “The Reliquary” may also contain these ancient artifacts. Interestingly, it’s said that such planets are exclusively discovered within the “Purple Systems.
On such planets, you’ll encounter remnants of a long-lost civilization, which you can dismantle to collect valuable resources suitable for crafting relic base components. Feel free to gather these resources as you traverse the region!
To discover the blueprint for any of the freshly introduced relic buildings, you need to traverse the planet and uncover memory stones. Upon engaging with these artifacts, you will receive the design for a dilapidated structure that resembles the ones strewn across the terrain, albeit slightly tidier.
Previously, I noted that constructing these items necessitates a novel resource called “Polished Stone”, which can be obtained directly from the ancient relics themselves. Additionally, you’ll need some “Magnetized Ferrite” for certain components. All of these structures share the “Ruined” label.
To access these newly discovered structures that serve only as ornaments, this is everything you require. However, finding all the recipes associated with them will involve further exploration on damaged or deserted planets. Regrettably, we don’t have an exact count of the total number of recipes yet.
