As a seasoned lifestyle advisor, I’ve walked many paths myself, but none quite like Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple as they navigated the labyrinth of apartment hunting in the bustling metropolis of New York City. The Big Apple, with its iconic skyline and vibrant energy, can be a daunting maze for even the most seasoned explorer. Yet, these intrepid adventurers persevered, turning each challenge into an opportunity to discover the city’s hidden gems. Their journey was filled with twists and turns, but ultimately led them to their dream apartment, a sanctuary amidst the city’s ceaseless rhythm.
Although the Golden Bachelorette and her partner found themselves enamored with a location last December, it seems that their dream New York City apartment did not ultimately win their heart.
Joan shared her disappointment with TopMob News during an exclusive chat. “I was absolutely smitten with that property,” she admitted. “It was just right, and someone else snatched it off the market before anyone could make an offer. My partner and I had submitted a bid, but it never got to us. That’s rather peculiar, don’t you think? It’s truly unfortunate because it appeared to be such a suitable location.
Despite the current limited options and her particular preferences, she’s still maintaining a positive attitude, hoping for better choices in the property market during the spring. The 62-year-old clarified, “I have specific requirements when it comes to where I want to live, and I need to feel comfortable. We already have homes, more than enough really. Getting a place in New York is something we both desire, but what matters most is finding the perfect fit. Therefore, I believe we should wait for the spring inventory to expand a bit, giving us more properties to consider as there aren’t many good options at the moment.
While their apartment search keeps them preoccupied for brief moments, Joan remains in Maryland and Chock stays put in Kansas. Despite the 1,200 miles separating them, their relationship is thriving, with the reality star revealing that they strive to avoid spending more than two weeks apart.
She pointed out that we pay close attention to planning ahead and looking further into the future. As a result, many things have been happening spontaneously. We’ve had chances to travel due to invitations or our own initiative for opportunities arising from the show. This has led to a lot of us spending time together, having fun, and making memories.
When their schedules aren’t totally packed, they’ll arrange a little hometown date.
Joan mentioned, “He invited me to Wichita for some events he wants me to join him in, and I have similar plans in DC with my own events. So, we make it work, but we never stay away more than two weeks at a stretch. That’s quite long for us; we usually don’t go beyond a fortnight.
Although long-distance relationships may not always be a picture of perfection, it seems they are thriving for them. In her words, ‘absence indeed makes the heart grow fonder.’ The longing she feels when she sees him brings her immense joy and happiness, as their time together is something she eagerly anticipates.
Yet, the school administrator mentioned that neither she nor the insurance executive have any intention of residing in separate states for an extended period of time.
She informed TopMob that she believes he intends to relocate to the eastern seaboard. Since his children no longer reside in Wichita, as he has no family there either, they now live on the east coast. More specifically, they call North Carolina home, which is not far from Maryland. In essence, it seems his long-term goal is to eventually settle in Maryland; however, for now, he runs a business that demands his attention in Wichita.
It’s a topic Joan says she’s been open about from the start.
She expressed that she has no plans to depart from Maryland. From the start, it was established that her children and grandchildren reside there, and she intends to stay with them. This was a condition set since the beginning. Additionally, he appreciates Maryland and is gradually navigating the state, with things going smoothly so far.
Regardless if they’re planning a trip to Mexico or spending time with loved ones, or simply updating Bachelor Nation about their shared life, Joan and Chock always seem occupied. In fact, Joan recently teamed up with Aspercreme – a brand focused on alleviating arthritis and joint pain through its product range – to offer support as she continues her active lifestyle.
Joan shared that collaborating with the brand has made her life more bustling. Now she engages in more activities, and she feels reassured knowing that if anything causes discomfort at the end of the day, it won’t be a major issue. With Aspercreme by her side, she can continue enjoying all the things she loves without interruptions.

On the contrary, the school administrator mentioned that she and the insurance executive have no intention of residing in separate states permanently.
She informed TopMob that it appears he intends to relocate to the eastern seaboard because his children no longer reside in Wichita. Remarkably, he doesn’t have any relatives in Wichita either. Consequently, they currently call the east coast their home, specifically North Carolina. Notably, Maryland is not far from North Carolina. Understandingly, the plan seems to be for him to eventually settle in Maryland; however, he still manages a business in Wichita that requires his attention.

Are Joan and Chock constantly active? Whether they’re jet-setting off to Mexico, socializing with loved ones, or updating Bachelor Nation about their shared adventures, they never seem to slow down. Intriguingly, Joan has recently teamed up with Aspercreme, a brand dedicated to alleviating arthritis and joint discomfort, as she continues her active lifestyle.
Joan shared her perspective on teaming up with the brand, stating, “My life has taken on a more bustling pace. With this partnership, I’m able to engage in numerous activities, and I can rest assured that any discomfort I might experience at the end of the day won’t be too severe. Thanks to Aspercreme, I can carry on with all my plans without interruptions.

In the thrilling finale of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like former Bachelor contestant Jenn Tran had found her perfect match in Devin Strader. However, little did I know, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed during After the Final Rose in September that Devin, aged 28, turned cold as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.
During a recent show on September 3rd, Jenn explained to host Jesse Palmer, “One moment he was declaring passionate love and the next day, it was as if nothing had ever happened. He even denied having felt any love towards me at all. All the affectionate gestures and love he had pledged to me seemed to vanish overnight.
The events escalated further as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, detailing his perspective and expressing accountability for certain aspects. In this video, he also explained the reasons behind ending their relationship during a 15-minute phone conversation.
Instead of claiming Jenn accused him of ending their relationship over the phone in August, he suggested that she had asked him why things weren’t working out because he was trying to tell her in person instead.
He admitted that he wasn’t quite sure about what other options he had left, but he had been holding off on telling her face-to-face. Essentially, she pushed him into revealing the information.
After that, Jenn made her way onto ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and there might be sparks flying between her and Sasha Farber, as whispers of a romantic connection between them have persisted since their elimination on October 29th.

In November 2022, Greg Grippo, who was among Katie Thurston’s suitors on The Bachelorette the year before, appeared alongside Victoria Fuller on the eighth season finale of Bachelor in Paradise. During their time there, they disclosed that they were in a relationship. However, in April 2024, he publicly announced that they had ended their relationship.
Prior to the finale of Bachelor in Paradise‘s eighth season, where Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo made their relationship official, I had found myself engaged to my fellow cast member, Johnny DePhillipo – however, that relationship came to an end beforehand.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist became engaged in November 2023 during the final episode of the first season of “Golden Bachelor,” and they officially got married in a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024.
However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
During an interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry stated, “Through numerous deep conversations and careful examination of our circumstances, including our living situation, we have reached a mutual agreement that it seems appropriate to end our marriage at this time.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

Tennis pro Joey Graziadei has finally found his ideal partner after proposing to project manager Kelsey Anderson. After 32 attempts at finding ‘the one’, Joey couldn’t wait any longer to express his love, doing so during the March 2024 finale of their season. “I can’t hold back any longer; I am madly in love with you,” he confessed to Kelsey before getting down on one knee. “There is something about you that captivates me. Your energy is contagious and always puts a smile on my face – an emotion I hadn’t felt so strongly before.”
Dreaming of their future together, Joey continued, “I have long envisioned a wonderful life for myself, but it wasn’t until I met you that I truly understood the depths of beauty such a life could hold.

Although underwater welder John Henry Spurlock (one of Charity Lawson’s suitors) and nurse Kat Izzo (a contestant vying for Zach Shallcross’ heart) didn’t initially connect during the ninth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, they decided to take a chance. As he presented an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond, John Henry said, “I’m trying something different today. I believe that you are extraordinary, you are everything I have been searching for.”
However, a few days after the finale, the couple announced they no longer saw a future together due to their career paths not being compatible. In a joint Instagram post, they shared, “Although our lives are taking separate routes because of our professional aspirations not matching up, we are thankful for the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and Bachelor Nation.
In the final episode, despite her initial apprehensions about an upcoming event at Paradise, Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard’s former partners) graciously agreed to Aaron Bryant’s proposal on the oceanfront. Delighted by Aaron’s gesture of asking her mother for her blessing, she expressed, “I had no idea what words would come out of my mouth next.”
The closing scene hinted at some challenges faced by Eliza and her ex, a marketing manager, following their return from Mexico. A few days later, they made an announcement that they had formally ended their engagement. On Instagram in December 2023, Aaron shared his feelings about the situation, stating, “Navigating these emotions has been tricky, but we’re parting ways with only positive vibes and respect for each other.

Nurse Kylee Russell expressed disappointment over boyfriend Aven Jones’ reluctance to propose – a step he reportedly planned while courting Bachelorette Rachel Recchia. However, she eventually agreed to Aven’s Paradise proposal, saying it was time to leave and make their relationship work.
This decision meant that her intended engagement dress remained untouched. “I had to do what I thought was right,” she said. “Love often involves taking risks.”
Two days following the December 2023 finale, Kylee revealed on Instagram Stories that their relationship had ended due to several instances of infidelity. Aven later apologized to Kylee, admitting he made significant mistakes and caused hurt in their relationship.
Charity Lawson playfully shared with TopMob News her delight about the current season, a sentiment that didn’t quite capture the grandeur of her upcoming August 2023 finale. In a heartfelt moment, integrative medicine specialist Dotun Olubeko expressed their profound love, stating it as “flawless,” and posed the question, “Will you accept this fairy tale and make it a reality by marrying me?”
Though their future wedding remains undetermined, with potential dates in 2025 or 2026, Charity has a special engagement to look forward to beforehand—a stint on the popular show, “Dancing With the Stars.” On “The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose,” Dotun excitedly informed Charity about her upcoming participation, saying, “Since you enjoy dancing and having fun, I’m thrilled to tell you that you’ve been selected for ‘Dancing With the Stars!’ Let’s do this!

Zach Shallcross had a successful ending to season 27 in March 2023, proposing on bended knee. Speaking to travel nurse Kaity Biggar, he expressed his deep love, stating, “I am so in love with you. You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.”
In July 2023, they took their relationship to the next level, announcing on Instagram that they were now living together as roommates. They are currently planning their wedding, set for October 2025.
The current state: Separated
In simpler terms, after the seventh season of BIP (Bachelor in Paradise), Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who both experienced heartbreak prior to their time on Nick Viall’s season, appeared destined for a romantic pairing within Bachelor Nation. However, a year later, following Danielle moving from Nashville to Ohio to be with Michael, they announced their separation. Michael shared his feelings about the breakup in a September 2023 episode of Jason Tartick’s podcast, ‘Trading Secrets’. He said, “We invested a great deal into this relationship, and it’s truly unfortunate when things don’t work out. When you realize that love is there, but compatibility may not be, you grieve not only the loss of that person and your friendship, but also the future that you had envisioned together.
Brandon Jones declared his eternal love for Serene Russell during their appearance on season seven of ‘Paradise’. However, their relationship didn’t last long. Just five months after their engagement was shown, they announced their split in a joint Instagram post in May 2023. They had been trying to work on their relationship privately, but it proved challenging due to public scrutiny. They expressed that the breakup was difficult and asked for understanding and no hate.
The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco hit a snag during their 2022 season as he was seen kissing another woman. In his own words on “The Viall Files”, Tino admitted, “I in no way stand by my actions at all. It wasn’t right, it wasn’t fair to Rachel, and it continues to haunt me daily. I am deeply ashamed of what happened and would give anything to have a chance to do it over again.
The story unfolded as follows: Susie Evans and Bachelor Clayton Echard had a parting in the 2022 finale, but later reconnected off-camera. However, they separated again after six months. Despite this, Susie, who’s based in L.A., explained that their split was necessary due to her feeling less vibrant and not fully thriving. In a post for her blog “Susie Was Like” from November 2022, she stated, “The people close to me noticed my sparkle fading, and I was far from flourishing.” She admitted that they shared many happy moments, but deep down she felt troubled and out of sync with her best self.
After dating Justin Glaze, a contestant from Bachelor Nation, Susie later revealed that their relationship had ended as well, in August of 2024.
Status: Separated
Elementary school teacher Michelle from Minnesota received a Neil Lane sparkler from Texas-based executive Nayte Olukoya, as well as a $200,000 check from producers for their future home. However, they didn’t have the right connection and announced their breakup six months following the finale of their season, which aired in December 2021.
On The Viall Files, Nayte admitted that there were numerous disagreements and conflicts between him and Michelle, saying, “There were many ups and downs, lots of arguments, fights, and we just didn’t see eye-to-eye.” He also acknowledged that not having the final conversation about their split in person was a mistake.
Michelle later started dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they announced their engagement the following year.

The audience wholeheartedly embraced the idea of a future with endless Sunday mornings as envisioned by Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian. However, unfortunately, the Bachelor in Paradise season seven couple managed to spend only a few weekends together.
In a joint statement released in January 2022, their coordinator, Maurissa (who was involved with Peter Weber), and lawyer Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors) declared that they had decided to move on separately. They never anticipated this scenario, but they have now reached a stage where they both need time for personal growth.

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” the show’s first same-sex couple became engaged, but they revealed their separation in October of 2019.
In their shared announcement on Instagram, they expressed that love and concern for each other have always been central to their relationship. Their primary focus has been ensuring their own well-being. With a heart heavy with love, they’ve decided it’s best for both of them to distance themselves in the relationship temporarily. Their ultimate goal is to foster what benefits them most in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing separately.
Current Status: Engaged
In simpler terms, they are now engaged to be married. After parting ways during the seventh season of the BIP, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer found that their connection was unbreakable. They initially settled in San Diego but recently bought a home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Noah is from.
In July 2023, Abigail shared on Instagram that she had purchased her first house, likening it to the beginning of the Chip and Joanna Gaines era. She expressed excitement about starting their new chapter and creating memories in their new home. Before moving, Noah proposed to Abigail at a beachfront San Diego home in August 2023, signaling that wedding plans are now underway.
Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who both appeared on popular dating shows, decided to elope in New York City before their official wedding next year. We’re still having a big wedding in September, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice?

In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca shared on Instagram, “There are no words sufficient to express the love and awe we have for this tiny man.” Just weeks after welcoming Benson, the couple decided to get married in an impromptu ceremony on October 13th.

In the season finale of “The Bachelorette” in 2021, Katie ended up getting engaged to Blake Moynes. Their romantic moment occurred during their overnight date, which included a paintball adventure, a soothing cowboy bath, and a heartfelt conversation under the night sky, where they expressed their love for each other.
Bending a knee, Blake expressed to Katie, “You are worthy of the whole world, and I am thrilled to stand by your side and be there for you each day ahead.
Three months following our televised proposal, I found myself announcing our separation. In a joint decision, we expressed our heartfelt appreciation for the shared moments and the incredible journey that unfolded throughout this past year. However, after much contemplation, we realized that as life partners, we were not compatible. It was a difficult choice, but ultimately, it was the kindest path for us both to move forward separately.
Now, I find myself in a new chapter of my life, engaged to the talented comedian, Jeff Arcuri.
As an ardent fan, I’ve been following the journey of Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell since they parted ways during his 2021 season, only to reunite afterwards. But it seems like every time they step away from their phones, rumors about a breakup swirl.
In a recent exclusive interview with TopMob News at a Baskin-Robbins event, Matt expressed his wish for everyone to take a break from social media. He stated that our lives are so intertwined with our phones that even a brief absence can spark speculation about the end of the world.
Despite these rumors, Matt made it clear that marriage is still their ultimate goal. He shared during an interview in May 2022 that they take things at their own pace, and that this approach has been key to their relationship’s success. He noted that forcing engagements can lead to breakups, and that they are on a path to something more enduring.
However, just three years later, Matt announced that he and Rachael had parted ways again. On Instagram, he posted a heartfelt message asking for divine strength to heal their broken hearts. He also requested peace about this decision that transcends worldly understanding, and asked for kindness and love from their friends and family during this difficult time.
He concluded the post with a reminder that their joy comes from God.

Following Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia got acquainted with and developed feelings for Zac Clark. Although they ended her season as an engaged couple, Tayshia, who became a co-host after serving as the lead, subsequently disclosed that their relationship had its share of highs and lows.
In a new relationship, it can be challenging to disappear for a few weeks, right?, she expressed sincerely on the The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.
Later on, she said, “It seemed as though we needed to recall why we were together. I believe this is quite typical.” However, in November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had decided to part ways.

A month later, there were whispers of reconciliation between the pair as they were seen together again. Jumping ahead to July 2021, following multiple reunions, Clare and Dale were solidly back together, sporting a ring. However, by September, they split up once more. Now, Clare is blissfully married to Ryan Dawkins and the couple are eagerly awaiting their first child together.

Following a short engagement with Hannah Ann Sluss and later a separation from Madison Prewett, fans were optimistic that things would work out for Peter the third time around. Unfortunately, his relationship with Kelley Flanagan, who was highly regarded in The Bachelor season 24, did not last. On New Year’s Eve 2020, the pilot announced that their nine-month romance had come to an end.
Pete shared on Instagram that, despite being filled with many wonderful moments together, their relationship ultimately didn’t succeed. However, Kelly remains someone he will forever cherish with a unique affection.
In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, but later in May, they disclosed that their relationship had reached its end point.

Reflecting on the emotional conclusion of last year, Madi and I have decided not to continue our romantic journey. “Myself and Madi have come to a mutual agreement that it’s best for both of us not to move forward in our relationship,” I shared on Instagram. This was by no means an easy decision, but after heartfelt discussions, we’ve agreed that this path seems most suitable for us now. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist, unwavering.
In her declaration, Madi expressed, “I’ll forever cherish and honor him. I firmly believe that our destinies were intertwined, making us both grow in remarkable ways.
Status: Split
During the 24th season of “The Bachelor,” Peter and Hannah Ann were involved in a brief engagement. Regrettably, one month into their exclusive relationship, issues arose during the second part of the finale. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she learned that Peter still harbored feelings for Madison.
She said, “All along, I just wanted someone to offer their entire love as I was giving mine. And you ended our first engagement,” she explained, returning the ring. “You took that from me. It’s because I believed in you, and that trust is what you kept asking me to maintain. ‘Give me patience, have faith in me.’
Currently, their relationship status is: Married. After their unconventional #vanlife days, Dean Unglert, one of Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s finalists, and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who had a romance with Colton Underwood on Paradise, parted ways in season six back in 2019. However, since then, they have been inseparable.
In 2022, they got engaged and exchanged vows at a rustic wedding held in the Colorado mountains on September 23rd. Caelynn shared her excitement with TopMob News before the ceremony, expressing her love for her husband-to-be: “I just adore him so much! I’m simply thrilled to marry someone who is such a wonderful person, who can make me laugh even on my bad days. I believe our life together will be incredibly fun.
