Based on insider NateTheHate’s recent hints on Twitter, there’s a possibility that the new PlayStation State of Play could be released around February 14th. When asked for specific timing, he playfully suggested, “Let your heart decide.
It appears that there might be a decline on Valentine’s Day, if true, Sony is likely to announce it a day before, together with details about what we can anticipate. The games Sucker Punch Productions’ “Ghost of Yotei” and Kojima Productions’ “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach” are expected this year, which could mean new trailers. Since last year’s State of Play included third-party announcements, it’s reasonable to expect similar news this time around.
Sony has not shared much information about other upcoming releases, such as the live-service co-op heist game “Fairgame$”. Given that Sony has recently cancelled live-service games from Bend Studio and Bluepoint Games, it’s uncertain if Haven Studios’ project will continue. Keep checking for updates in the meantime.
