Okay, so the new episode, “Gary,” felt a lot like one of those deeper-dive flashback episodes of The Bear. It really centered on Mike and Richie – we got to see them playing basketball, playfully arguing with some kids, and just… being Mike and Richie. There’s a lot of love and tension between them, as always, and somehow, through all of that, they actually get the package delivered! What added to the stress, though, was that Richie promised Tiff (Gillian Jacobs makes a quick appearance) he’d be back by 5:15 because she’s about to have the baby, which just ramped up the anxiety like we’re used to with The Bear.
Many viewers enjoyed the return of these popular characters and were happy with the latest addition to the series. However, a lot of fans were disappointed, often because of the highly debated ending, especially what happened to Eleven. Now, Netflix faces a similar issue with the upcoming release of Stranger Things.
