Unlock 5 Exclusive Promo Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket’s New Event!

As a passionate fan, I’m excited to share that a fresh event has just kicked off in the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket! This exciting new development offers players the chance to collect a set of brand-new promo cards. The Cresselia ex Drop Event is now live and runs until February 16th at 9:59 p.m. PT.

Reminiscent of previous Drop Events, you can grab promo packs by conquering solo event battles. The main attraction of this event is the Cresselia ex promo card, a Psychic-type Legendary that made its debut in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. But that’s not all! Players might also stumble upon four additional promo cards featuring unique designs for Turtwig, Electivire, Misdreavus, and Skarmory.

Happy hunting, trainers!

In your upcoming battle, keep in mind that Cresselia ex has a vulnerability to Dark-type cards. Given its Lunar Plumage ability, which allows it to heal 20 damage each time Psychic Energy is attached, and its Psychic Flash attack capable of inflicting 80 damage, you’ll want to be prepared for its potential nuisance value. It’s advisable to strategize your deck accordingly, taking this powerful Pokemon into account.

The ongoing Events in the Pokemon TCG Pocket provide an excellent chance for gamers to fine-tune their decks and experiment with fresh tactics. With Space-Time Smackdown having been released only recently, this might be just the moment for players to explore cards they may not have considered before. This new expansion has introduced several Dark-type Pokemon, such as beloved characters like Spiritomb, Darkrai, Toxicroak, and Drapion. During the event, it will be fascinating to observe which cards players employ to conquer Cresselia ex, and there’s already a buzz on social media about strategies being shared.

During the Pokemon TCG Pocket event, players need to understand that receiving promo packs isn’t always guaranteed. The developers clarify that the likelihood of obtaining a promo pack is based on a specific probability rate. It can be disappointing when you win a solo match without getting a promo pack in return, but these restrictions are put in place to prevent players from quickly finishing the event on the first day.

The Cresselia ex Drop Event in the Pokemon TCG Pocket game will lead players up to mid-February. Since February is typically a significant month for The Pokemon Company, it’s exciting to speculate about what might follow. Historically, February marks special announcements and events across various games from The Pokemon Company. Notably, February 27th each year commemorates the anniversary of the original Game Boy releases of Pokemon Red and Green. In previous years, this date has often brought new updates and even in-game events. So, it’s likely that we might see both for Pokemon TCG Pocket, but we’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out!
