Far Cry New Dawn Will Receive 60 FPS Patch on Xbox Series X/S and PS5

Ubisoft has verified that the post-apocalyptic title Far Cry New Dawn will receive a 60 frames per second (FPS) upgrade on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. However, this enhancement comes at the cost of disabling the FPS Boost feature on Xbox Series X/S.

The update featuring the shooter’s inclusion to Game Pass will become active on February 4th. This is applicable for cloud, PC, and Xbox gaming systems. Originally launched in 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and personal computers, “Far Cry New Dawn” takes place in Hope County, Montana, a region grappling with the aftermath from “Far Cry 5”.

While there’s a resemblance in gameplay to its previous version, players have the opportunity to venture into different places called Expeditions for resources. New features include various weapons, crafting options, and adversaries that have undergone mutations.
