2. Grant Mitchell returns to Walford to save his brother

In a frenzy, Sharon, Billy, Honey, and Jamie Borthwick (Jay Brown) desperately look for Phil, while his depression intensifies, leading us to observe signs of psychotic episodes in him.

In 1985, scenes set in the Mitchell family home will be portrayed to him, starring Daniel Delaney as the younger character and Jaime Winstone reprising her role as Mum Peggy, who seem to manifest before his eyes.

During these visions, Phil acts as a bystander to a pivotal moment from his adolescence.

As the harsh self-talk escalates within him, figures from Phil’s past start appearing in conversations, both in the Square and at his residence – a phenomenon that seems to blur the lines between reality and hallucination.

Later on, Jay locates Phil at address number 55, just as Sharon shows up for an urgent meeting. Phil maintains that he’s okay and dismisses Sharon.

But soon, Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) returns with a visitor who he hopes can help Phil – Grant!
