Ariana Grande Reveals Shocking Memory Loss From Early Pop Career

Ariana Grande is sharing why she has a wickedly bad memory.

In my own words, I’d say, “Reflecting on my journey thus far, I find myself a bit unclear about the early phases of my musical path due to spreading myself too thin during those crucial years.

On the February 3rd episode of the Smartless podcast, Ariana mentioned that during her youth and early days as a pop star, she found it challenging to establish boundaries and refused to say “no” even when she was depleted, due to an inability to do so.

Actually, it seems that the 31-year-old found it challenging to remember being featured on an episode of the British talk show “Chatty Man” in 2016, which he appeared alongside “Smartless” co-host Will Arnett.

Ariana questioned, ‘Hold on, not that strange talk show, right?’ She momentarily forgot about it, but then remembered. ‘Oh my goodness, I remember now! Indeed, it’s back again.’

And the Nickelodeon alum assured Will that her forgetfulness had nothing to do with him.

She went on to say, “The issue wasn’t about you; it was about the boundaries that were crossed. To clarify, it was more about me. During those years, there seems to be a gap in my memory – I’ve been quite serious about this – I was literally absent for a few years.

Fortunately, Ariana is now well supported by individuals who help her manage a healthy balance between her work and personal life.

Expressing her gratitude, she mentioned, “With a team that is truly exceptional and supportive, I feel incredibly blessed to have achieved balance. This ‘Wicked’ experience has taken an unexpected turn for me, it’s been a whirlwind, yet it’s also been breathtakingly beautiful and enjoyable.

Although Ariana may express a positive outlook on her music career’s start now, she has shared earlier that this upbeat perspective is rooted in extensive personal growth – notably in relation to certain songs within her discography.

At one point in my life, it wasn’t as easy for me to feel the same profound gratitude I have now towards certain songs,” I admitted during an interview on Hot Ones in August. “Becoming a pop star at such a young age – 19 or 20 – was mind-blowing, and I believe that phase of my life was intertwined with some of those songs to a degree.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to express this in my own words: “Some songs that carry deep emotions resonate with me because they remind me of the experiences that brought them into being. With the passage of time and therapeutic healing, I find myself able to reconnect with these songs. So, when I listen to them, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride, gratitude, and joy.
