Capcom has announced that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released on May 16th.
For those who might have missed the updates, it appears this collection is quite impressive. Contained within are the legendary PS1 combat game Rival Schools 2, also recognized as Project Justice, and the arena fighters Power Stone and Power Stone 2. This bundle represents a significant piece of 3D fighting game history.
This collection includes Capcom vs. SNK II: The New Dynasty Mission, Capcom vs. SNK 2001 – Mark of the Millennium, Capcom Fighting Evolution, and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper. Altogether, they create a strong lineup.
Additionally, we have the lesser-known game titled “Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein” – a classic arcade title that many may not recognize.
Each game features online play modes utilizing rollback netcode, similar to the initial Capcom Fighting Collection, and there’s an extensive gallery section for enthusiasts to explore.
Are any of these iconic fighting games particularly dear to you? Feel free to let your nostalgia guide your thoughts in the comment area below.
