In a recent update, Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws now supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation specifically for owners of RTX 50 series graphics cards. Additionally, it enhances Frame Generation for those using RTX 40 models. For PlayStation 5 Pro gamers, the game has been updated to the latest version of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution.
If there’s anything newsworthy to discuss, it would be the modifications made. This update addresses problems such as Kay having trouble dismounting from her speeder due to a steep slope and excessively loud ship noises from aircraft passing overhead. While it’s always preferable to have these enhancements rather than none, there isn’t an abundance of changes overall.
The game titled “Star Wars Outlaws” is playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and personal computers. For a detailed analysis, head over to our review. It has received numerous updates that enhance combat, stealth, and movement mechanics, as well as a paid story expansion named “Wild Card“. Our review scores it at six out of ten.
Another downloadable content pack titled “A Pirate’s Fortune” is set to launch this spring. In this expansion, character Kay teams up with pirate Hondo Ohnaka to address some past disputes. Keep an eye out for announcements about its specific release date within the upcoming weeks.
PATCH DETAILS (version 1.0.5.1):
FULL PATCH NOTES:
Star Wars Outlaws on PC now supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, a feature designed for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. This technology leverages artificial intelligence to create as many as three additional frames for every traditionally rendered frame, thereby significantly increasing the game’s frame rate.
The new DLSS 4 now offers quicker single-frame generation along with reduced memory consumption, tailored for the RTX 50 and 40 Series.
