Sea of Thieves Season 15 Release Date Announced

The game “Sea of Thieves” is highly entertaining and offers players an opportunity to live their pirate fantasies and explore the vast oceans. One reason it’s so popular with a large player base is because Rare frequently updates it with new content, keeping things interesting for existing players and attracting new ones. The arrival of Season 15 has been eagerly anticipated by fans, who are curious about its release date and what new features it will bring to the pirate-themed game. Well, the wait is almost over as Rare has now unveiled a sneak peek for Season 15 of “Sea of Thieves”.

Subtly hinted at “Sea of Thieves”‘s upcoming Season 15 with a brief gif, showcasing what seems to be a potential new danger lurking on the high seas. Although details are scarce, players have been eagerly discussing their theories about what Season 15 might offer.

The upcoming Season 15 of “Sea of Thieves,” set for release on February 20th, introduces a fresh version of the Megladon. This new creature sports yellow and purple crystal growths resembling coral all over its body, posing a significant threat and serving as an exciting new boss to challenge your pirate abilities.

In addition to discovering potential new species of fish and a new, spotted pig, gamers speculate that these findings suggest the introduction of new pig pets in the game. Moreover, some have noticed two newly discovered treasure chests connected to specific factions within the game. Lastly, there’s excitement about the possibility that the Wild Things update might include customizable row boats.

Many anticipate that Season 15 of Sea of Thieves will introduce an overdue upgrade to the Hunter’s Call trading company. The Hunter’s Call primarily deals with fish and Treacherous Plunder, among other things. For a long time, it has been the least profitable faction in the game when it comes to earning gold, but this might change in Season 15.

As a gamer, I’ve always felt that introducing fresh fish into Sea of Thieves would significantly boost my gaming experience and make it more rewarding to advance with the Hunter’s Call. The reputation I build with this faction currently doesn’t feel quite as fulfilling due to the relatively small payouts, so I’ve been eagerly awaiting the Wild Things Season 15 Update to change that!

Originally available only on Xbox, Microsoft eventually made “Sea of Thieves” playable on PlayStation 5. Upon its release, it achieved tremendous success, even becoming the most played game on PS5 for a while. A significant factor behind this popularity is that Microsoft and Sony collaborated to incorporate crossplay and shared progression into the game. This feature allows players to transfer their saved progress and keeps the player base substantial by ensuring there are always many active users.

There’s speculation that Microsoft may transfer “Sea of Thieves” to the rumored Nintendo Switch 2, but it’s not confirmed yet. If they do, it would fit with their strategy of expanding their games across various platforms. However, we’ll have to wait and see. For now, players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC can look forward to the Wild Things Update on February 20th.
