Update [Mon 10th Feb 2025, 3:15pm]:

A sneak peek at the forthcoming RPG from Level-5, titled “The Girl Who Steals Time – Fantasy Life,” hints at information concerning its launch date.

On X, the developer’s CEO Akihiro Hino made the following post:

Concerning Fantasy Life I, we’ve experienced a minor setback with the announcement of significant updates. This is because we’re dealing with issues like finding suitable platforms and developing new hardware, which some speculate may involve the upcoming PlayStation release.

Additionally, Hino notes that the game appears to be developing into an exceptional Role-Playing Game (RPG), boasting enhanced graphics and gameplay that promises to be noticeably more engaging.

Based on the appearance of the game on the official PlayStation Store, it seems that only an official announcement remains. Given previous indications, it might be saved for the anticipated State of Play event this week. We’ll find out soon enough.

Original Story:

It appears that the game Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time, which was created and released by Level-5, is on its way to be playable on both PS5 and PS4.

Initially, the game was officially announced as exclusive to Nintendo Switch. However, it briefly surfaced on a PlayStation Store webpage before being removed.

This was spotted by the eagle-eyed Gematsu:

According to the page, the game is set to arrive on 23rd April 2025.

In this instance, the series is set to make its first appearance on PlayStation, having previously been exclusively available on Nintendo hardware and mobile platforms.

In “Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Stolen Time,” I find myself immersed in a captivating life simulation RPG where I journey through time to collect essential resources. Later, I return to the present day to enhance my very own island sanctuary. Here’s a peek at the trailer up above so you can get a feel for the game!

In this game, you have the freedom to assume multiple characters or lifestyles, allowing you to concentrate on diverse activities like mining, woodworking, battling creatures, and so forth. It shares some similarities with Animal Crossing, but with a bit more excitement added in.

Likely, an announcement is imminent – we’ll revise this piece once everything has been officially confirmed.
