PlayStation Plus Subscribers Have One Week to Play 6 Different RPGs

For PlayStation 5 users who are subscribed to PlayStation Plus, particularly those with Extra and Premium tiers, there’s just one week left to enjoy a selection of great RPGs. Subscribers of the base tier, PS Plus Essential, aren’t affected by this time-limited offer as they don’t currently have access to these RPGs in their subscription. However, those who do have access will only be able to play until February 18th.

Among the many role-playing games (RPGs), it’s hard to overlook “The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition” from Obsidian Entertainment, which was released in 2019. This RPG garnered considerable acclaim and a Metacritic score of 85, making it one of the top-rated RPGs of its year.

On February 18th, another notable Role-Playing Game, Scarlet Nexus (released in 2021 by Bandai Namco), will be departing. Despite not achieving a Metacritic score as high as some at 80, it has still found success with sales exceeding two million units and creating a positive impact on its audience.

On the same day as these two well-known RPGs (Role Playing Games), a collection of less mainstream RPGs will also be released, which have dedicated hardcore fans. To clarify, four games from Bandai Namco – Tales of Arise, the remastered Tales of Symphonia, another remastered version of Tales of Symphonia, and the Definitive Edition of Tales of Vesperia – will all depart on February 18.

In just eight days, the games currently available on PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium for both PS4 and PS5 will no longer be accessible. It’s unlikely that players will have time to play all or even the majority of these games before they disappear.

After the games disappear from PS Plus, subscribers would need to buy them just like any other player, as they won’t have access to them anymore. It’s rare for games to be removed and then reintroduced, and when it does occur, there is often a significant time gap between these two instances.

PlayStation Plus can be accessed through both PS4 and PS5 in three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. To stay updated on Sony’s subscription service with news, rumors, leaks, and deals, follow this link.
