Kid Rock Storms Offstage at Bon Jovi’s Nashville Bar After Calling Out the Crowd

Kid Rock isn’t afraid to clap back.

On February 8th, which was keyboardist David Bryan’s birthday, the artist known for “All Summer Long” shared the stage with him at JBJ’s Nashville, a bar owned by Jon Bon Jovi. During their joint performance of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary”, accompanied by a band, Kid Rock expressed his displeasure towards the audience for seeming to lack enthusiasm.

He told the crowd, “If you don’t join us in applause, we won’t continue singing.” This is how things will be moving forward, as shared in a TikTok video on February 9th.

Following the restart and setting the rhythm for the crowd, the 54-year-old performer appeared unsatisfied by the audience’s involvement and unexpectedly left the stage without completing the song.

“You know what? F–k y’all,” he declared before storming off. “You ain’t gonna clap, I’m going.”

Later on, Bryan shared a video from the incident on his Instagram, but chose not to acknowledge Kid Rock or his outburst. Instead, he wrote a caption expressing gratitude for the birthday wishes he received.

TopMob News has reached out to Kid Rock’s rep for comment but has not heard back.

Prior to the highly anticipated show, the singer known as “Picture” performed at Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington D.C., sharing the stage with artists like Carrie Underwood and Billy Ray Cyrus. However, both of these performers encountered technical issues during the event. In a challenging situation, the soon-to-be judge on American Idol had to push through her rendition of “America the Beautiful” at the U.S. Capitol due to an audio malfunction that caused a delay in her backup music.

If you recognize these words,” she addressed the gathering during the January 20th session, “could you lend me a hand as I sing this song without accompaniment?

Regarding Billy Ray, he encountered some major technical issues during the Liberty Ball later in the night, at one point questioning the audience, “Shall I continue singing or should I simply step down from the stage?

Despite the snag, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer later insisted it didn’t put a damper on his day.

He shared on Instagram (January 21) that no matter if his microphone, guitar, and speakers were functioning or not, he wouldn’t have skipped the opportunity to be part of this event. What made it special for him was being invited by President Donald J. Trump.
