Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Hunting the Werewolf Mission Guide

In this piece, we’ll walk you through the “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” quest titled “Hunting the Werewolf.” Let’s embark on a monster-hunting adventure instead.

During the “Finding Mutt Quest”, players will encounter a band of shepherds who are under threat from a pack of wolves. One of these shepherds will be in need, offering the Hunting The Werewolf Mission. This task is tougher compared to other side quests involving shepherds, and it primarily relies on Henry’s investigation abilities and some combat.

This Werewolf mission, on the other hand, leans heavily towards combat and the challenging landscape you’ll navigate won’t make things simpler. In this write-up, we’ll walk you through every step of the mission to aid you in its completion.

How To Complete Hunting the Werewolf Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Initially, you’ll need to converse with Shepherd Natan to embark on a mission. You can find him in the northern part of Semine. Upon meeting him, he will express concerns about his sheep, similar issues faced by other shepherds in the area. However, he suspects it’s not ordinary wolves causing the trouble. Instead, he strongly believes a Werewolf is at the heart of this problem. This marks the commencement of the “Hunting The Werewolf” quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Track The Blood

Nathanson has shared that he discovered some blood, accompanied by a sheep’s ear, with no body present. Your task is to investigate this blood trail. Start moving eastwards, and you’ll notice a blood-streaked path on the road. This trail will guide you to a deserted farm with a crossroads nearby. Here, you’ll find the previously mentioned pool of blood and an arrow. Grab the arrow and employ Mutt’s tracking skill on it. As you proceed, you’ll enter a thick forest. Let’s track down a skilled archer, a Werewolf expert in this matter.

Deal With The Vagabonds And Report To Natan

Keep in mind that the forest is teeming with wolves, so tread cautiously. If a confrontation arises, Mutt might need to resume tracking from a point where he can pick up the scent again. After some time following Mutt, you’ll come across a makeshift camp of vagabonds in the woods. There are three adversaries there, and attempting dialogue with them could be an option. Typically, they roam around their camp. Therefore, it’s best to eliminate them quietly as it will make the task less challenging.

After handling the three wandering men, you’ll see a lamb, sacrificed in a ceremonial fashion, positioned centrally within their camp. This, it turns out, is Natan’s lost sheep. Now that the enigma has been resolved and it’s clear that some vagabonds, not a Werewolf, were responsible for this, return to Natan. Share your discoveries with him. Unlike the other investigators, he will be relieved as there’s no Werewolf threatening his sheep herd. In return, Natan will provide you with:

Rewards:

  • 25 Groschen
  • Schnapps
  • Weak Savior Schnapps
  • 3 Bandages
  • 2 Cooked Onions
  • Bread
  • Even Die

Conclusion

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, your Hunting The Werewolf side quest has reached its conclusion. Although brief, it was indeed challenging. Some players might find it disappointing that no actual werewolf was present, but remember, the world of KCD 2 is intended to be realistic, hence the absence of supernatural elements.
