For quite some time now, the romantic connection between Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) on EastEnders has been hinted at, and their secret relationship seems to have drawn them even closer.
During the resolution of what nearly became an affair, Denise and Jack’s marital issues have led Denise to be drawn towards Ravi once more. In a groundbreaking decision, viewers will now have the power to choose whom Denise ultimately ends up with.
For the very first time during EastEnders’ history, viewers of this popular soap opera can influence the ending of a significant plotline in honor of its 40th-anniversary festivities.
During the live broadcast, we’ll find out as the votes are tallied – will Denise manage to repair her marriage, or could a younger suitor’s charm become a factor in her future?
Despite their past being rich with experiences, there seems to be something persistent about Ravi and Denise that continually draws them together.
In a recent interview prior to the release of the special episodes commemorating an anniversary, Aaron Thiara shared that character Ravi has grown deeply fond of Denise. As the anniversary week approaches, viewers will notice Ravi becoming increasingly open with his emotions towards Denise, expressing his feelings more openly to her.
He feels exposed due to his desire not to be considered less than perfect, ignored, or sidelined. After much hesitation, Denise and Ravi have finally acknowledged their mutual feelings for one another.
Thiara acknowledges a special, spiritual connection with the other person that goes beyond mere physical attraction, which others in the Square may not grasp.
Ultimately, the decision is in the hands of the viewers, which Thiara thinks is “genius”.
As a dedicated movie reviewer, I find myself captivated by the way EastEnders seamlessly integrates itself into our daily lives, gracing our screens no less than four days a week. It’s as if this show has extended an invitation to all of us, making us feel like cherished insiders, privy to the unfolding drama in Walford.
Watching it makes you feel deeply connected to the characters and their stories, so much so that you may find yourself yelling at the screen.
Offering the audience a chance to participate makes for a fantastic way of blending the program with its enthusiasts.
