Sony has made public that their upcoming State of Play event for the PlayStation is scheduled for February 12th at 2 PM Pacific Time. This live broadcast will be available on YouTube and Twitch, lasting more than 40 minutes, and will feature a diverse array of intriguing games created by studios from around the globe, showcasing their creativity and uniqueness for the PS5.
According to the launch timetable, it’s quite possible that we’ll witness updates for Sucker Punch’s “Ghost of Yotei” and Kojima Productions’ “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach”. Notably, director Hideo Kojima has been hinting at the creation of a trailer for the former title lately, and he had earlier indicated that a release date unveiling was planned for this year.
If Haven Studios’ cooperative heist game, Fairgame$, has managed to endure Sony’s latest change in their live-service strategy, there’s a chance it might receive an update. One potential new title that could emerge is the next installment of God of War from Sony Santa Monica, rumored to be set in Greece and featuring a younger Kratos as the main character. Additionally, Hell is Us, developed by Rogue Factor, might make an appearance given its seemingly leaked release date. Keep an eye out for further information when State of Play comes back tomorrow.
