Alice in Borderland unveils first look at season 3 – release window confirmed

Simultaneously, a fresh picture appeared with the accompanying statement, “You’re not prepared for the last match.” This image depicts a group of three characters gazing over a sprawling, dystopian cityscape, featuring a prominent joker card in its setting.

Fans have had to wait quite a while, over two years now, since the second season premiered on Netflix in 2022 – that’s two years following the initial series run. So, they’ve been eagerly awaiting to find out how the story will proceed from where it ended previously.

According to the manga written by Haro Aso, this series centers around a group of youths who find themselves ensnared in a string of lethal contests set in a chilling, alternative take on Tokyo. It has become a massive success on the streaming platform.

Back in September 2023, I was thrilled when Netflix announced that they’d be continuing our beloved series! They hinted at Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya rejoining as Arisu and Usagi for season 3, promising fans a glimpse into the progression of their characters amidst the perilous world of Borderland.

Shinsuke Sato’s ongoing leadership will continue to preserve the signature intensity and high-quality filmmaking that the series is known for.

Simultaneously, they revealed a brief 20-second preview that showcased an ominous joker card gradually disappearing into the distance, accompanied by spooky music.
