Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have declared that Elden Ring Nightreign, their multiplayer spin-off game, will be available for both PS5 and PS4 on 30th May 2025. With numerous hands-on preview articles being published, including our own review, the release date indicates that Nightreign is nearly upon us, with just three months left before its launch.
The official release date indicates a swift development process for Elden Ring Nightreign, given it was initially unveiled towards the end of 2024 at The Game Awards. This multiplayer game offers an engaging experience where you fight iconic bosses from both Elden Ring and Dark Souls, along with entirely new adversaries. The game incorporates a well-defined day and night cycle, and as time passes, your playing area gradually contracts due to a closing circle.
After spending six hours playing Elden Ring Nightreign during a preview session, we described it as an exhilarating new project from the renowned RPG developer. By emphasizing the core gameplay elements and transforming them into a more concentrated, action-packed cooperative experience, it’s hard to overstate just how enjoyable Nightreign is.
