Taylor Swift's Generosity Shines as She Tips Grammys Staff in Heartwarming Backstage Clip!

Taylor Swift made sure everyone had an enchanted evening at the 2025 Grammys.

In an exclusive backstage video from the February 2nd awards event, the “Non-Conventional Hero” artist yet again demonstrated her unique character.

In the video posted on X, Taylor, wearing a silver mini-dress and black combat boots, with her hair in a classic ponytail, is spotted exiting an arena that resembles Crypto.com Arena. She then turns around and heads back towards staff positioned near a hallway’s side.

She gives each of the four employees what appear to be cash tips, saying “You’re appreciated so much,” before joining the rest of her group. (Informal)

The video (seen nearly 2 million times) has predominantly received warm responses, with the user sharing it describing her as “a heavenly being.

In a subsequent post, an account praised Taylor’s consistent act of giving back, saying, “By the way, she does this at every stadium and every event! I adore her,” while another user chimed in, “She consistently does this, and we admire her for staying true to herself, with or without the cameras.

Indeed, it’s not the first occasion that the 34-year-old, who went home without any Grammy awards this year despite her six nominations, has decided to donate or give back.

During her record-breaking Eras Tour, not only did it catapult her into billionaire ranks, but Taylor Swift also generously rewarded her team members and crew with various perks.

Come the summer of 2023, the Grammy-winning artist distributed a staggering $55 million in bonuses among the team working on their Eras Tour. This included a generous $100,000 bonus for each of the truck drivers responsible for transporting the equipment from one city to another.

Mike Scherkenbach, owner of the concert transportation company, shared with Rolling Stone that she was providing a substantial amount of money which could significantly improve the lives of those individuals. He further explained that many drivers in their company were not homeowners, and receiving such a large sum would enable them to make a down payment on a house. This, he added, was what brought him immense joy. Such generosity, he emphasized, could transform the lives of these people for the better.

He further mentioned that Taylor’s act of providing a bonus wasn’t just unusual, but the substantial amounts (each came with a personal note from the pop star) were over ten times greater than what is typically given.

During the course of nearly two years, Taylor Swift distributed a grand total of $197 million as bonuses to everyone from caterers to videographers who contributed to the success of the Eras Tour. This includes stage crew members at all levels, merchandise teams, carpenters, her dancers and band, security personnel, choreographers, hair, makeup, and wardrobe specialists, physical therapists, and her video production team.

After all, as Taylor herself noted, a show that touched as many fans as it did required many hands.

She told the packed audience at her last concert in Vancouver on December 8th, ‘We’ve traveled across the globe with this tour, and it’s been an incredible adventure.’ She added, ‘This experience has been exhilarating, electrifying, intense, challenging – more so than anything I’ve ever undertaken before.’

She went on to say, “Tonight, we’re playing our final show for you, and this performance will be seen by more than 10 million people.
