Kylie Kelce is more than just Jason Kelce‘s wife.
The host of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast openly expressed her feelings about being referred to as a “WAG,” or “wives and girlfriends” of professional male athletes. It’s clear that she doesn’t identify with this term.
Kylie expressed to Alex Cooper on their February 12th show of “Call Her Daddy” that she finds the term distasteful because she believes it carries a strong negative implication. In simpler terms, she suggested that the phrase “being swallowed up by your spouse’s profession” could be used instead.
The mother of Wyatt (5), Elliotte (3), and Bennett (20 months, who is soon to be joined by a fourth child, a girl) shared some guidelines that she and her husband, ex-Philadelphia Eagles player Jason, have established to ensure that his NFL career doesn’t overshadow their entire family.
Kylie clarified, “Both Jason and I put in significant effort to ensure that his role during the game was crystal clear.
Just as a person might head to work, return home, and not feel compelled to recount every detail of their day, so too can you be engrossed in tasks like tax filing or creating spreadsheets without feeling the need to share these activities with your partner upon arriving home.
Beyond ensuring that her career didn’t overshadow their family time, this ex-collegiate field hockey player aimed to challenge and redefine the stereotypes often associated with being a spouse of an athlete (WAG).
I find it amusing, really, the stereotype – associating someone with wealth means they’re only valued for their bank balance, luxury items, or lavish homes. That’s not how my admiration works.
Kylie continued, “It feels as if many individuals have visited our home, and it’s almost as though they expect something different. Yet, I’m unfazed, responding with a nonchalant ‘Yes, that’s exactly what you encounter!’
Apart from this, the 32-year-old is also resisting other inclinations. Lately, Kylie has voiced her stance on using her own struggles with body image in the past as a means of inspiring her daughters.
During my upbringing, conversations often revolved around what people were capable of rather than their physical selves,” she expressed on TODAY recently. “It’s heartening to see this discourse evolving.
Kylie proceeded to explain the ways she encourages her eldest child, Wyatt, during her phases of rapid development.
She mentioned, “‘Wow, that’s impressive! You don’t even need a stool to wash your hands because you’re so tall.’ And she seemed to brighten up. It’s all about focusing on those small, seemingly insignificant instances and finding a positive angle for something that is beginning to capture their attention.

Following an initial hiccup on our first date, I, as a lifestyle enthusiast, found myself striking up a connection with Kylie during our next encounter. Fast forward to November 2015, we officially announced our relationship status on social media, marking the start of a beautiful journey together.
2018 marked the year when Kylie got married. Since then, she’s been pondering over the joy of sharing life’s triumphs with her spouse.
In her social media post last July, she expressed that this off-season had been her most cherished one so far. She found it brief but exceptionally delightful. With immense pride, she refers to the man by her side as her husband, eagerly anticipating witnessing his diligence and commitment throughout another season.
By October 2019, the couple expanded their family, welcoming baby Wyatt into the world.
Two years later, their second daughter Elliotte, joined her big sister.
Approximately a year after, Kylie announced that another ‘Kelce woman’ would join their group, along with some charming snapshots.
In February of 2023, the couple joyfully expanded their family by adding a new member – their third child. The little one made her entrance about two weeks after Jason had his highly anticipated showdown against brother Travis Kelce during the 2023 Super Bowl.
In May 2023, the NFL player posted a photo on Instagram of his eldest daughters grasping a large trophy, known as the Larry O’Brien Trophy. He expressed in the caption, “I never imagined I would be holding this esteemed award, let alone have it in my home! It’s an unparalleled privilege to see it up close. The scale is astounding; it seems tiny when NBA players are holding it, but it’s truly massive! My daughters showed great curiosity towards it.
On the sports field that hot August day, the duo exchanged a glance at the lively group of five, humorously commenting in their shared Instagram post: “Joining us for ice cream treats and family obstacle courses, post-practice with dear old dad!
In October 2023, Wyatt’s fourth birthday was celebrated at the Philadelphia Eagles’ stadium, and Kylie playfully commented on Instagram, “We were marking a 4th birthday as the Eagles clinched their 4-0 record,” or simply, “Wyatt turned 4 in October, on the same day the Eagles went 4-0, and Kylie posted about it on Instagram.
In June 2024, Kylie posted a picture of her and Jason’s daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett on Instagram, captioning it, “As parents, having two out of three isn’t so terrible!
Jason and his brother Travis Kelce’s mother Donna Kelce remarked, “The sweetest group of ‘blessings from a rainbow’!
