In full swing with its production, Remedy Entertainment has openly shared that their Max Payne 1 + 2 Remake project is now fully underway. This information comes directly from their latest financial report to investors, which also highlights that they’re making steady advancements as they collaborate with Rockstar Games on crucial development milestones.
In other news, it’s been disclosed that Remedy has other projects, such as FBC: Firebreak, currently in their full development phase. A closed technical test was carried out in December, focusing on testing matchmaking and back-end services. This cooperative spin-off of Control is set for release in 2025 and will be available on PS Plus Extra from launch day.
Regarding the sequel to the popular franchise, Control 2, it has now transitioned into complete production phase. According to Remedy, the project has demonstrated its pace in generating assets, set up its production channels, and is primed for expansion in full-scale production.
Additionally, Alan Wake 2 enthusiasts have some positive updates: The Finnish creators have verified that the game surpassed two million units in sales and is now earning royalties for the studio. This means that Remedy will start receiving royalties from the game’s sales by the end of Q4 2024.
