The Walking Dead Star Wants Rick Grimes in Dead by Daylight

Over time, “Dead by Daylight” has introduced content inspired by various horror franchises, but there’s been one notable absence – The Walking Dead. Regardless of the reasons, Behaviour Interactive has yet to bring it into the game, despite a large fanbase expressing their desire for it. Among these fans, none have been more vocal than the Twitter account “@RickGrimesforDBD”. This account has been relentless in its pursuit of adding the main character from The Walking Dead as a survivor in the game. They’ve even enlisted the help of one of the actors from the AMC series to amplify their cause.

In “The Walking Dead,” Chandler Riggs played Carl, Rick Grimes’ son. On the platform Cameo, Riggs received an intriguing request: the Rick Grimes for DbD account asked him to aid in promoting Rick for a role within the game, with Carl Grimes as a Legendary skin. Not only did Riggs agree to this request, but he also shared that he’s a fan of “Dead by Daylight” himself, having reportedly spent around 500 hours playing it on his PC.

Hey there gaming community! I can’t help but express my gratitude to @RickGrimes4DBD for facilitating the creation of some fantastic new Dead by Daylight buddies beyond The Fog. Cheers, mate!

Fans of “Dead by Daylight” are left in anticipation, as they’re unsure if the Cameo video will reach its intended goal. Nevertheless, the video has managed to catch the eye of the official “Dead by Daylight” Twitter account, which retweeted and quoted it for its 1.2 million followers. The account expressed delight at forming new “Dead by Daylight” connections outside of The Fog, and even thanked the Rick Grimes for DBD account for making this interaction possible.

As a devoted fan of Dead by Daylight, I’ve got to say, if the developers at Behaviour Interactive weren’t already feeling the pressure for The Walking Dead characters in our favorite game, they surely are now! The post revealing Chandler Riggs’ video has sparked a surge of demands for content tied to the series. In fact, many of us fans are now convinced that this collaboration is on the horizon. For now, we can only cross our fingers and hope it becomes a reality!

For now, enthusiasts are eagerly waiting updates about a possible Walking Dead partnership, but they’ll have to make do with an abundance of Resident Evil-themed content instead. Recently, the 2v8 mode was reintroduced in the game, along with the appearances of The Nemesis and The Mastermind (Albert Wesker). Additionally, the Raccoon City Police Department has been included in the map rotation, and Herbs from the game series have been added as well. In summary, it’s a substantial collaboration that Resident Evil fans will appreciate, and for those new to Dead by Daylight, it presents an excellent opportunity to give the game a try. If The Walking Dead were to collaborate in the future, let’s hope it receives a similar treatment!
