Capcom has unveiled a fresh trailer for the upcoming remastered version of “Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny”. The trailer offers a quick glimpse into the game’s narrative and setting, while also disclosing that this title will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 23rd.
Not only did Capcom reveal the game’s launch date, but they also made it available for pre-purchase. As an added incentive, those who pre-order will receive a complimentary copy of the Onimusha 2: Orchestra Album Selection Pack.
In addition, the trailer indicates that those who possess the remastered version of Onimusha: Warlords and have saved game data, will be rewarded with an extra Jubei: Samanosuke costume to utilize within Onimusha 2.
Earlier this month, during Capcom’s Spotlight event, the remastered version of “Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny” was revealed. Initially, there wasn’t much information provided, but we did get a sneak peek at how the revamped version of the PS2 original would appear on our contemporary high-resolution screens.
The story centers on a new character named Jubi, who embarks on a quest to avenge his clan that was brutally attacked by Oda Nobunaga. This storyline was revealed together with the upcoming main installment in the series – “Onimusha: Path of the Sword.”
