Blizzard Entertainment is all set to roll out some exceptional modifications for the hero shooter game, Overwatch 2, and they’re just around the corner. Starting from February 18th, we will witness Season 15: Honor and Glory along with a fresh Premium Battle Pass boasting a brand-new Mythic skin. Have a look below to learn more about it.
The most notable modification is the introduction of Perks in Quick Play and Competitive modes, enabling players to acquire Minor and Major variations for a hero’s abilities. As an illustration, Orisa can now make her Javelin a powerful, charged projectile with enhanced knockback effect. Pharah’s Concussive Shot will be converted into a vacuum that pulls in multiple opponents instead.
Apart from the rank reset, you’ll also find Galactic Weapons as rewards, an emphasis on the GOATS meta in Overwatch Classic, and new Legendary Skins. To add excitement, Loot Boxes (previously seen in the original Overwatch) make a comeback with enhanced gacha-style mechanics. This includes transparent odds for items and guaranteed rarities after opening a specified number of boxes.
Of course, there’s much more coming to Overwatch 2 in the future, so stay tuned for more details.
