Doctor Doom’s Shocking Move Against the Thunderbolts Revealed!

In the upcoming “Thunderbolts” film, Doctor Doom expresses his disapproval in the tie-in series titled “One World Under Doom”. The Super Bowl unveiled a new trailer for the movie, fueling excitement ahead of its release later this year. Previously, the Thunderbolts made their return in comics with a “Thunderbolts” series last year, and now they are set to appear in the upcoming limited series, “Thunderbolts: Doomstrike”. This new series ties into Marvel’s “One World Under Doom” publishing initiative. The initial issue gives us a glimpse of Winter Soldier’s strikeforce as they confront Emperor Doom in their battle.

In this new version, ComicBook showcases an advance look at the first issue of “Thunderbolts: Doomstrike” penned by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, illustrated by Tommaso Biachi, Yen Nitro, and lettered by VC’s Joe Sabino. This story takes us back to last year’s Thunderbolts series, where the Winter Soldier led his team against some of the Marvel Universe’s most formidable villains, such as Red Skull. As we move forward in time, Bucky Barnes and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine tune into a news broadcast that reveals Doctor Doom proclaiming himself as Emperor Doom, with every nation submitting to his authority. Upon reaching Fort LeHigh, Bucky is met by none other than Doctor Doom himself.

In a surprising twist, Winter Soldier assumes Doctor Doom is there to mock him, but Doctor Doom clarifies that it’s quite the contrary. Instead, Doom expresses his gratitude towards Bucky for motivating him when Bucky defeated the Red Skull. To demonstrate his appreciation, Doctor Doom proposes making Winter Soldier the leader of his covert police force, the Fulgur Victoris. This proposition aligns with Bucky’s strategy, as he refuses Doom’s offer and records the entire interaction to expose it publicly, similar to how the Avengers and Fantastic Four attempted to outsmart Doctor Doom when they revealed his deception regarding Baron Zemo’s death.

In the first issue of Thunderbolts: Doomstrike, the exclusive preview concludes with Valentina transporting the Winter Soldier to Thunderbolts Mountain, but a bit further away from their headquarters than intended. When Valentina expresses concern over an electrical storm approaching, the Winter Soldier discerns it for what it truly represents: an imminent assault.

In the first issue of Thunderbolts: Doomstrike, the narrative goes: “Revolution…or Rebellion…Swift as Lightning! The world was consumed by Doom. And Bucky Barnes aided in this catastrophe,”

“To make amends for his unintentional part in Doom’s victory, Bucky gathers a team with a singular objective: destroy everything. However, when Bucky’s saboteurs – including Black Widow and Songbird – initiate an unrestrained campaign to dismantle Doom’s Empire, Doom vows to show that rebellion leads to bloodshed…
