What could be the plot of Invincible season 4?
We won’t fully understand the storyline for season 4 until season 3 concludes, but it’s likely that the narrative will continue post-Invincible War arc and beyond issue 65 in the comics.
When approaching the source material, if we find it flowing smoothly, our aim is to preserve its essence while adding a new layer of interpretation. We strive to enhance certain aspects and trim others when deemed appropriate.
However, when there are significant scenes or occurrences from the comics that the fans have eagerly awaited, rest assured, they will be included.
Later, he made it clear that any modifications to those scenes would be aimed at intensifying them, subtly enriching the moments to create a stronger impact. This way, when the adapted scenes from the comics eventually appear, they’ll resonate differently – perhaps more emotionally if you’ve spent more time with certain characters, or more powerfully due to the increased anticipation.
While it’s true that Invincible season 3 is closely following the comics, what really solidifies this is when Kirkman compares it to his work on The Walking Dead adaptation, suggesting that significant deviations from the original source aren’t always necessary.

Kirkman explained that his approach when adapting comics is mainly about amplifying what was already there, rather than altering it just to offer a fresh take. This lesson came from his work on The Walking Dead.
I approached the work with a mindset of offering fresh perspectives since I assumed the audience had seen similar content before. As a result, I made changes as frequently as I could during that particular project.
I’m suggesting that we present it in such a manner that fans who have enjoyed the comics will find themselves loving it once more.
